First, to cover his weakness of blind, he raised all his other senses such as hearing, smelling, touching and instinct. He highly developed his natural instinct so greatly that he can sense demon attack easily.
Unique Weapon: Gyomei wields a hand axe complete with a spiked flail attached to the hilt through a long chain. To wield his unique weapon he uses the sound of the chain to judge the position of the flail and axe, covering for and even taking advantage of his blindness.
He has black spiky hair, and a prominent scar that runs across his forehead horizontally. He has been blind with no irises nor pupils.

Gyomei, an emotional and gentle person by nature, was extremely sad that he was not able to save more lives. Even after the accusation, his concern was that he wasn't able to protect other kids that the demon devoured.

Gyomei's Nichirin weapon is quite peculiar, as instead of a sword, he has a Flailed Spiked Mace connected with an Axe. However, he could kill a Demon by landing rapid blows until daybreak. Gyomei can defeat Akaza without even awakening his Demon Slayer mark.
Aside from these skills, in the Infinity castle arc, Gyomei was able to hold his own against Kokushibo while fighting him alongside Sanemi Shinazugawa. Kokushibo acknowledges that throughout the centuries he has fought numerous swordsmen, but no one was as strong as Gyomei.
Who was the first and last hashira? Goku isn't a hashira because he is the main character in a "Dragon Ball" and he is a Saiyan. As for the "first ever Hashira"...that is unknown. As for the "last ever Hashira"...that would be Shinazugawa-san as well as Tomioka-san.
Gyomei also awakened the Transparent World ability and was able to predict his opponents' movement by seeing their blood flow, joint and muscle movements, despite being blind.
His eyes are almond-shaped and tilt upwards on the far sides, and are unusual due to Obanai possessing heterochromia—his right eye is yellow and his left eye is turquoise.
At first Gyomei finds Tanjiro to be weak and pitiful, even suggesting that he should be killed for being lost to his obsession with a Demon.
Saying that all his doubts are now gone, Gyomei states that he has fully accepted Tanjiro regardless of what the other Hashira may say.
Mitsuri. The love Hashira and upcoming featured character of season 3, Mitsuri is best known for her extreme affection for everyone in the Demon Slayer Corps.
As a result, Tengen Uzui has to deal with the moniker of being the least powerful Hashira around. Of course, that's not the worst thing in the world, as all Hashira are strong. He's still incredibly powerful and can give any demon a run for their money.

His fast movement, combined with his excellent swordsmanship, makes him a remarkable demon slayer. Most of his attacks are purely offensive due to his breathing style. Being a user of wind breathing, he is undoubtedly fast.

Despite his large and muscular build, Tengen Uzui is the fastest runner among the Hashira.
Giyu Tomioka and Sanemi Shinazugawa attend as the final surviving members of the Hashira, and together they they get a confirmation that not only are the demons all eradicated, but that the Demon Slayer Corps will be disbanding.
