Cedric Diggory tackled the task first, against a Swedish Short-Snout. He used a Transfiguration spell to change a rock into a dog to distract the dragon. He was partially successful; the dragon took the bait, and Cedric went for the Golden egg.
Cedric achieves this by transfiguring a rock into a Labrador to distract the dragon whilst he retrieves the egg. The dragon is distracted by Cedric, but burns half of his face.
Viktor Krum was third, facing a Chinese Fireball. He used the Conjunctivitis Curse to blind the dragon and retrieve his egg. However, he was docked points when the dragon stumbled around and smashed half of the real eggs.
He knew that because, (Spoiler Alert) Fake Mad Eye(Barty Crouch Jr.) told Cedric that in order to know the next hint, put the egg underwater. He told him so that Cedric can tell the hint to Harry which will make Harry's chances of winning the cup increase.
All of the champions got the egg eventually, but Cedric and Fleur were charred a bit, and Krum causes his dragon to step on several of her real eggs. Ron and Harry are reunited afterwards, as Ron was terrified for Harry's life and realized that Harry would never put himself in that position just for attention.
Despite his skills, the Irish side were too good for the Bulgarians, and Viktor decided to end the match by catching the Golden Snitch. During his pursuit of the Snitch, he was hit in the face by a Bludger which broke his nose and gave him two black eyes.
For example: if Viktor Krum can transfigure his head into a shark's, like he does in Goblet of Fire, that doesn't mean he is an Animagus. Transfiguration is a form of spell-casting, whereas becoming an Animagus is forever. And yes, he could turn into a falcon. Lucky.
Because Voldemort commanded Wormtail. He said, "Kill the Spare". Peter Pettigrew used Voldemort's wand to kill Cedric Diggory. That's why an "echo" of Cedric came out of Voldemort's wand during his duel with Harry Potter.
“Take my body back to my father.” This quote is certainly a sad one to end on, because these are Cedric Diggory's last words. While Harry Potter duels Voldemort in a graveyard, Cedric's corpse lies by the portkey, both discarded as useless objects by the Dark Lord. But then Harry's spell does something extraordinary.
Robert Pattinson spoke to GQ about his role as Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Pattinson recalled holding his wand like a gun with two hands on it as if he were n a "Die Hard" film. The actor said that he did that because he thought it was "so dorky to hold it like a magic wand."
During the Triwizard Tournament, Fleur took on a Welsh Green dragon with panache. She charmed the beast into a sleeping trance – skilfully dodging the jet of flame that shot from its nostrils – and went on to claim her golden egg.
Fleur Delacour failed to finish the second task because she was attacked by the grindylows. Because Delacour failed to finish, she never retrieved her younger sister, Gabrielle.
Although every tournament in history had only ever had three champions, Harry Potter found himself chosen as the unprecedented fourth. The other three champions were Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons, Viktor Krum of Durmstrang and Cedric Diggory of Hogwarts.
Normally a heroic character, in an alternate timeline created by the meddling of Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy, Cedric Diggory becomes a Death Eater and in fact is instrumental in helping to achieve victory for Lord Voldemort and his followers, leading to a dystopian timeline.
Cedric and Harry completed the Third Task together. Both took hold of the Triwizard Cup, which transported them to the Little Hangleton graveyard, where Cedric was murdered by Peter Pettigrew with the Killing Curse, on the orders of Lord Voldemort.
↑ In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Chapter 24 (Rita Skeeter's Scoop), Hagrid tells Harry that he hopes he wins the Triwizard Tournament as "It'd show 'em all ... yeh don' have ter be pureblood ter do it." implying that Cedric is a pure-blood.
Harry learns how to perform Avada Kedavra from Barty Crouch Jnr (posing as Mad-Eye Moody) just weeks before the incident. This is the spell used to kill Cedric.
Bellatrix Lestrange
"What will happen to your children when I've killed you?
Although he appears in later parts of the film, Draco's last lines are spoken inside the Room of Requirement during the Battle of Hogwarts. He tells Harry about having to use his mother's wand, saying, "It's powerful, but it's not the same. Doesn't quite understand me. You know what I mean?"
The advantage of nonverbal casting is that you don't relay any info to your opponent. If you start shouting an incantation, the opponent has a split second to parry your spell or block it using a specific counterspell. The Avada Kedavra curse, however, cannot be blocked, so you gain nothing by casting it non-verbally.
He didn't think it was fair that Cedric was killed the night of the Triwizard Tournament, and all he wants to do now is bring Cedric back to his father. So when Albus returns to Hogwarts, he tells his best friend, Scorpius Malfoy, what he wants to try to do.
Animagus. Lily's animagus form is a Doe, coupling with her husband, James Potter who is a Stag. Severus Snape's animagus is also a Doe.
As a pack animal, or as a “lone wolf,” the wolf is a perfect fit for Harry's Animagus form.
