Ruby is one of the untouchable cool kids at Moordale High. But when she and a ton of other classmates from school show up to Otis's party toward the end of Season 2, she and Otis get closer. They wake up in bed together the next morning, actually. And later, Ruby confirms to Otis that they did have sex.
Otis made Ruby feel safe and comfortable, and allowing her to be herself in a way she never had before could have made her fall in love with him. Indeed, this may have been a process that actually started far before, during their interactions in Sex Education season 2.
Sex Education 4 trailer: Otis-Ruby shippers rejoice! They are back together | Web Series - Hindustan Times.
There's anticipation for their reunion, but the Sex Education season 4 trailer is suggesting that Otis' romance with Ruby isn't fully dead yet.
After initially just hooking up, Otis and Ruby begin dating and it soon becomes clear that they have great chemistry together and really care for each other. Ruby eventually tells Otis that she loves him. However, Otis doesn't say it back and he ends up breaking up with Ruby because he is still in love with Maeve.
Sex Education season 4 will keep the pair physically separated as Maeve stays in the United States while Otis deals with the fallout from Moordale Secondary's closure at home.
Isaac finds out about Maeve and Otis' kiss, and leaves angrily. Next day, Isaac tells Maeve he stops fighting for her, it finally lets Maeve and Otis to be together.
Maeve Wiley (girlfriend)
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Sex Education season 2 episode 7. Otis' first time certainly didn't go as he always imagined it would. For starters, after Otis (Asa Butterfield) drunkenly loses his virginity to cool girl Ruby (Mimi Keene) he can't remember whether they used a condom or not.
Season 3. However, Isaac later admits what he did to Maeve, causing her to ignore him for weeks as he broke her trust. The two later reconciled and eventually had sexual intercourse.
Ruby: "I love you." Otis: "That's nice. [splutters] Good night, then."
At the beginning of episode 3.4, Ruby was acting distant and showed that she was clearly annoyed that Otis hadn't told her he loved her. Then, she asked him about it. After, their conversation, they broke up.
Considering he and Maeve took forever to discuss their feelings, Otis's (Asa Butterfield) first girlfriend was Ola Nyman (Patricia Allison). They met when Ola picked up her dad from fixing something at Otis's house and they hit it off. Ola, being the bold young woman that she is, asked Otis out first.
Ola is the new girl at school. She befriends Lily, who tours her around the school. She is dating Otis for the first half of the second season. They try to have sex, but it doesn't happen and Ola breaks up with Otis.
Maeve & Otis: They Love Each Other More Than Anyone Else
If Maeve wasn't around, there's a good chance that Otis would've said that he loved Ruby.
Maeve does choose Otis over Isaac, however, she doesn't actually end up with anyone at the end of Sex Education season 3.
They go to the school dance separately, with Maeve going with Jackson and Otis going with Ola and after almost being expelled from school, Maeve decides to tell Otis she likes him. Before she has a chance, she sees Otis and Ola kissing and she walks away, realising it's too late.
Of course, Emma's exit would be cutting short the long-teased romance between Otis and Maeve which - and spoiler alert for those who haven't finished season three just yet - finally went ahead in the latest season, only for it to be put on hold as Maeve accepted her placement on a US transfer programme for three months ...
In season 3, Emily wants Maeve to apply to Gifted and Talented study programme in the US, which later she does. Thanks to Emily's encouragement, in season 3 finale, Maeve leaves to America, to develop her potential even more.
Otis is only 17 years old in the show, despite being the resident (and secret) sex therapist for Moordale High. There is a 8 year age gap between Otis and Asa Butterfield, who plays Otis in the show. Asa turned 24 years old last April.
However, upon realizing that Rahim would attend, Ruby quickly changes her mind. During the midst of the party, she is seen dancing inside the house. A drunken Otis approaches and gets down with her. It is revealed in episode 2.7, the two had consensual sex, but whether a contraceptive was used is in question.
Otis didn't love her at the time, said as much, never said he couldn't get there, etc. etc. and she broke up with him.
Hospitalized and on the verge of death, Otis tells Cruz, "Brother, I will be with you always." Fans didn't hold back when venting their feelings about how hard this scene hit home.
