Ron disarmed Bellatrix, using Pettigrew's wand. Harry stunned Lucius, who did not have a wand to repel the curse and then rolled behind a sofa to avoid curses from Narcissa, Draco and Greyback.
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Bellatrix used her knife to carve the word "mudblood" into Hermione Granger's arm. The film version of the knife bears a resemblance to cross-shaped spearheads that leave a hard-to-heal wound.
Draco's refusal to reveal Harry's identity to Bellatrix was not because he liked him. It was because he believed that Harry was the only chance they had at defeating Voldemort. At first, Draco admired and revered Voldemort until he threatened his family's safety.
Bellatrix reported that her wand had been stolen to Gringotts Wizarding Bank, as she feared Harry, Hermione, and Ron would try to break into her vault, which contained an item important to Lord Voldemort. Within weeks, this is precisely what they did.
Bellatrix Lestrange
Ollivander described this wand as "unyielding" a very telling feature of the owner as well. Legend has it that there was a European superstition warning not to grow anything near a walnut tree because it contained evil or poison-also in the walnut-wood wand of Bellatrix.
Phoenix. This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike.
She is a powerful witch with abilities rooted in her strength, determination, and fortitude. Early in the series, Hermione established herself as a force to be reckoned with, but when push comes to shove, she wasn't near the level of skill needed to defeat the likes of Bellatrix Lestrange.
The film may have had her use the AK, but the book didn't. This provided an opening for Molly to strike Bellatrix with a curse that hit her straight in the heart, killing her.
"The Lestranges should be here," said Voldemort quietly. In short Lord Voldemort was the sperm donor for the Lestranges as Bella's husband Rodolphus Lestrange was firing blanks. Hence why they had no child so Lord Voldemort said he would father a child with Bellatrix to help out his best deatheater friends.
Although Queenie (Alison Sudol) is not a very popular character, her wand is among the most beautiful and ornate in the wizarding world. The shaft is made of dark rosewood that contrasts with the light and delicate hilt.
Harry tried to use this spell himself. The first time was against Bellatrix after she had killed Sirius. His attempt was unsuccessful because, as Bellatrix mockingly explained: 'You need to really want to cause pain – to enjoy it – righteous anger won't hurt me for long…'
Narcissa Malfoy's Very Dangerous Lie
But she was also a mother, which meant she was willing to risk everything to make sure her son was safe. When Harry survived Voldemort's Killing Curse for the second time, Narcissa pretended he was dead so she could get to Draco.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
In this book, Rowling reveals that Bellatrix is the guardian of Helga Hufflepuff's cup (though she is unaware that it is a Horcrux), which Voldemort has entrusted the Lestranges to keep in their Gringotts vault.
8 Hermione Granger: Alohomora
If there is a spell to encapsulate the asset Hermione is to everyone's favorite magical trio, it has to be Alohomora. Alohomora is, fittingly, the spell that is used to unlock locks.
She wasnt madam Pomfrey. Meaning, while she had a general knowledge of various spells, she did not have the expertise in healing specific spells to be able to heal a death wound on a house elf. Their physiology is very different from wizards.
Bellatrix is a Death Eater. By definition, that means she hates Muggles and everything that has to do with them, and takes pride in being a witch. She used Crucio on Hermione because it's one of the best magical means to cause a person immediate, excruciating pain.
By the time he was Lord Voldemort (despite what I said earlier about the graveyard scene), Tom Riddle had become fully and completely asexual.
With all of those symptoms being met, it wouldn't be unreasonable to consider her as having a borderline personality disorder. Bellatrix Lestrange “was obsessively in love with Lord Voldemort, which extended to her being… attracted to him” (wiki).
Bellatrix Lestrange was in constant competition with Severus Snape for Voldemort's attention. She was jealous of his magical potential and never trusted him. She was always on the lookout for something that would prove Snape's disloyalty to Voldemort.
After Molly cast a well-aimed lethal spell at Bellatrix, she toppled lifeless to the ground, making Voldemort scream in fury and point his wand at her. Harry Potter cast a Shield Charm between the two of them, thus revealing himself and setting the stage for the duel that ended the Second Wizarding War.
Ron never casts Avada Kedavra at Nagini in the books.
Winner: Snape
Bellatrix would be in the top pile of witches and wizards of all-time based on powers, but her reliance on the same moves and lack of wit means she would be defeated by Snape after giving him an initially tricky time.
She was strong enough to kill Tonks (an auror). McGonagall had no such lack of discipline and was incredibly powerful in her own right. Bella was the only death eater that was able to deflect one of the spells from Dumbledore.
