You can add special permissions to specific websites using the Firefox Page Info window. Simply go to the Permissions section and uncheck the Use Default checkbox next to the permission that you want to change. But generally, if a website requires a special permission, it will ask you via a popup from Firefox.
Cause. On websites which are supposed to be secure (the URL begins with "https://"), Firefox must verify that the certificate presented by the website is valid. If the certificate cannot be validated, Firefox will stop the connection to the website and show a "Your connection is not secure" error page instead.
Websites that start with https:// have purchased a certificate and are specially encrypted to protect you. Websites that do not have that encryption are seen as unsafe by Firefox and you'll receive this warning. Not being able to access your regular sites while browsing can be frustrating.
To set trusted sites via GPO
Open the Group Policy Management Editor. Go to User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Internet Control Panel > Security Page. Select the Site to Zone Assignment List. Select Enabled and click Show to edit the list.
