ballet, opera, or theatre, or a concert or sporting event she'd love. Take her on an adventure, eg. hot air ballooning, rock climbing, camping or something else scary, exciting and challenging. Go on a mother/daughter weekend away.
Your daughter is sure to appreciate any acknowledgment of her first period, so don't overthink it. This gift isn't meant to cause stress. It should be a sweet reminder of how amazing our bodies are, and to welcome her into this new season.

On the first day, we have 'mangal snan'. The girl is bathed by five women excluding the mother. The girl is kept in a separate room during this period and she is disallowed from roaming around. Through the days the functions last for, she is given separate utensils, a mattress.
