During winter season the cursed tools will appear in the Lake Mine, which is accessible by walking across the frozen water in the lake on Mother's Hill. Each of your tools has a cursed version of itself, which can be found by digging in the ground on specific levels of the Lake Mine: Level 29 = Cursed Fishing Pole.
2) Sword of Extermination
Sword of Extermination is one of the most powerful weapons on this list, due to its lethal offensive power, especially against curses.
The tools will be found randomly hidden in the dirt on specific floors. When you find a new tool it will be in it's cursed form. You will need to dig in the ground using your Hoe until you get lucky and you find one. If you equip the cursed tools in your red Tool slot of your rucksack you can not remove it!
The tools appear on floor 29 (fishing rod), 39 (hoe), 49 (axe), 59 (hammer), 69 (watering can), and 79 (sickle) by tilling the ground like one would do in order to find the stairs. Collecting and uncursing all 6 tools is required in order to get mythic ore to drop in the Spring Mines.
Obtaining. The Mythic stones can be only found in the Spring Mine on any floor below 60. They will randomly appear after having all of your cursed tools blessed. They will not appear until your cursed tools have been blessed.
To upgrade your tools, you'll need to visit a Craftmaster, and they're known to spawn in a few different areas. You can always find one in a settlement and some facilities. If you're unsure where you could find one, open up your map and hover over the safe zone.
You may already have encountered the NPC there named Dva. However, in order to begin upgrading tools, you need to speak to him again. It might take a couple of in-game days and multiple conversations with him, but eventually Dva will give you a request called Updating Your Farm Tools 1.
You'll receive the Axe, Sickle and Hammer on your first day on the farm and then both the Hoe and the Watering Can on the second. The final four tools - the Bucket, Fishing Rod, Camera and Leash - all, however, require you either waiting for a specific day or talking to a certain member of Olive Town.

The Axe is not a craftable item and is not sold in any shop. You get the Axe during the first day, after Victor hands over the tools for the farm. Press X to open your bag then select the Axe to take it out.

How To Get The Insect Axe. Players must first unlock the Insect Axe recipe by analyzing a ladybug head using a Resource Analyzer. To make an Insect Axe, players need 1 ladybug head, 3 bombardier parts, and 4 strands of silk rope and must craft the axe using a workbench.
Upgrading the Axe
In order to upgrade the Leviathan Axe, you will need to find unique resources - either a Frozen Flame, or by finding 6 Frozen Sparks (which will automatically become a Frozen Flame).
As mentioned earlier, the Leviathan Axe starts off at level 1. But through the upgrades, you can take the Leviathan Axe all the way to a max level of 9.
When upgrading tools in Pioneers of Olive Town, prioritizing the Axe, Hammer, and Watering Can first helps speed up resource gathering, as well as making daily farm chores easier.
You can have up to 10 total Barns (Barns and Big Barns combined) on your farm at the same time. It may take you some time to collect the materials and gold required to purchase a Big Barn.
When you're ready to upgrade a tool, head to the Tool Shop. Talk to Clemens and tell him you want to “Upgrade Tools.” (Remember, the Tool Shop is closed on Tuesdays.) Each tool requires both materials and gold to upgrade. The first upgrade for every tool requires Iron Ingots.
Upgrading your Tools
You'll require five Iridium Bars and 25000 gold to upgrade each of your tools to their final version. You can upgrade your Hoe, Pickaxe, Axe, Watering Can, and even your Trash Can in this way. In order to upgrade to Iridium Tools, you'll need to first have the gold version of your tools.
You can upgrade your tools at the Blacksmith in exchange for gold and metal bars, with upgrades taking two days to complete. During the upgrade, you can't buy anything or ask Clint to break open geodes.
