From a web browser, go to Your Account and scroll down to Profile & Parental Controls. Click the drop-down arrow next to your main account profile, and next to Profile Lock, click Change and enter your Netflix password. Check the box to require a PIN to access this profile, then set your four-digit PIN.
Open the Profile & Parental Controls settings for the profile you want to manage. Change the Viewing Restrictions setting. Enter your Netflix password. Set the maturity rating level for the TV shows and movies you want to allow in that profile.
Open the Profile & Parental Controls settings for the profile you want to lock. Change the Profile Lock setting. Enter your Netflix account password. Check the box to Require a PIN to access the selected profile.
Navigate to the “Account” page from your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. In the “Profile & Parental Controls” section, open the child's profile you want to update. Select “Change” next to “Viewing Restrictions”, and enter your password when prompted.
To set a maturity rating level for a profile, go to Profile and Parental Controls, choose a profile, and select Viewing Restrictions. Profiles with a set maturity level will only show titles that fit the selected maturity rating level. You can also block specific shows and movies from individual profiles.
Both the Basic and Basic with ads plans allow you to watch Netflix on one screen only. With a Standard subscription, you can watch Netflix on two screens at the same time. Those with a Premium plan are able to watch Netflix on four screens at once.
To access this feature, sign in to Netflix in a browser on a computer, phone or tablet and select your profile. Then, hover over the downward-facing arrow icon in the upper-right corner and choose Account. Finally, go to the Security & Privacy section on your Account page and choose Manage access and devices.
Lock on a profile
To restrict access to a specific profile on your account, you can protect it with a Profile Lock PIN. Profiles protected with a PIN will appear with a lock icon on the profile selection page and require a 4-digit PIN.

This eliminates the extra time taken to put the log in ID and Password to unlock the device.
To lock individual profiles on your account, make sure you have the latest version of parental controls. The latest version will allow you more control to customize viewing for each profile on your account, and PIN-lock certain profiles.
Netflix did implement these filters a few years ago, but they're somewhat hidden and not everyone's familiar with them. First, you need to click on «TV Shows» or «Movies» in the top bar. You can then select the desired filter from a drop-down menu.
From a web browser, go to your Account page. Open Parental Controls. If you don't see a link for Parental Controls, you already have the latest and can apply controls to each profile. Use Parental controls on Netflix to see your options.
Of course, this saves Netflix bandwidth, too—if you fall asleep or just leave the room while watching Netflix, it will automatically stop playing rather than streaming until you stop it. Netflix also says this helps ensure you don't lose your position in a series when you resume it.
From a web browser, go to your Account page. Open the Profile & Parental Controls settings for the profile you want to see. Open Viewing activity. If you see a limited list, use the Show More button.
A Netflix account is for use by one household. Everyone living in that household can use Netflix wherever they are — at home, on the go, on holiday — and take advantage of new features like Transfer Profile and Manage Access and Devices.
Pay for Premium and there can be four devices of any kind watching Netflix at the exact same time. However, those users and devices cannot be permanently in another household.
The account owner will need to purchase an extra member slot, then invite an extra member to use the extra member slot. The extra member must be activated in the same country where the account owner created their account. Extra members cannot be added to Netflix-included packages or third-party billed accounts.
