Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad. Do one of the following: Prepare your content and settings to transfer to a new iPad: Tap Get Started, then follow the onscreen instructions. When you finish, return to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad, then tap Erase All Content and Settings.
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset. Choose an option: WARNING: If you choose the Erase All Content and Settings option, all of your content is removed.
Locate your iPad in the Finder or in iTunes on the computer that it's connected to. (Learn how to find your connected iPad.) Choose Restore when you see the option to Restore or Update. Your computer downloads software for your iPad and begins the restore process.
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
Connect your device to your computer with a cable. Place your iPad into recovery mode. For iPads without a Home button: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Top button until the recovery mode screen appears.
Steps to Remove Apple ID from iPad Without Password.
Launch the program and choose "Unlock Apple ID" from the main interface. Connect your iPad to the computer with a USB cable and trust the computer on your iPad if prompted. Click on "Start" and the program will start removing the Apple ID from your iPad.
Quickly press and release the Volume Up button. Quickly press and release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears, then release the Side button.
Go back to Settings and tap General > Transfer or Reset [device] > Erase All Content and Settings. If you turned on Find My [device], you might need to enter your Apple ID and password. If your device uses eSIM, choose the option to erase your device and the eSIM profile when asked.
You can delete your Apple ID from Apple's Data and Privacy website. Once an Apple ID account is deleted, you'll lose access to a number of services and saved content.
If your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple Watch is lost or stolen, you can erase it in Find Devices on iCloud.com. To sign in to Find Devices, go to icloud.com/find.
To erase your device go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad and then tap "Erase All Content and Settings." Now that all of your personal data is safely backed up and your iPad is completely wiped, you can fully revel in the joys of selecting a new iPad or other tablets.

Completely Remove Apple ID from iPhone
If you are selling or giving away your device, the only way to completely remove Apple ID from iPhone or iPad is to Factory Reset your device. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > on the next screen, select Erase All Content and Settings option.
Tap the screen, then glance at your iPad. The lock icon animates from closed to open to indicate that iPad is unlocked. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
