To unhide a post on Facebook, select the Activity Log from the three-dotted menu near your cover photo. Once in your Activity Log, unhide a post on Facebook by clicking the "Filter" link and choosing the "Hidden from timeline" option. You can unhide a post on Facebook in both the mobile app and in any web browser.
You can view things (like posts, photos and videos) that you've hidden on your profile using activity log. Tap in the top right of Facebook, then tap your name. Tap then tap Activity Log. Tap Filter, then tap Hidden from profile to review.
On the "Hidden From Profile" screen, you now see all your hidden posts. To unhide a post from this list, click the three dots next to the post and choose "Add to Profile" from the menu. Facebook will unhide the post and add it back to your timeline.
Clicking the "Hide from Timeline" or "Hide from Page" button immediately removes the selected story, photo or update from view. However, using the hide feature doesn't delete the item completely; the hidden story will still appear in other places on Facebook, including news feeds and in search results.
You may be able to hide some posts (example: cover photo updates, profile picture) from your Page. When you hide a post, it will be removed from your Page, but not from your Page's activity log.
When you hide a photo or post you're tagged in on your timeline, people won't be able to see it when they visit your timeline. But the photo or post will still be visible to the audience it's shared with in other places on Facebook, such as in Feed or Search.
Posts not showing up on Facebook (Why & how to fix)
You're not alone if you get into trouble with Facebook posts not showing up on your feed. This is not any bug that is out of your hand. Instead, it happens because of two things: One is because of cache, and another is selecting the audience in your setting option.
If you've hidden one of the types of posts Facebook still allows you to hide from your page, you can unhide it by going to your page settings and clicking on the activity log. Scroll through the activity log to find the hidden post. Once you've located it, click Edit and choose 'Allowed on Page. '
But unless they're interacting (liking, reacting to, commenting, or sharing) immediately with your content, there's a chance Facebook's algorithm will hide your post so no one will see it. They do this because they want you, as a public Page and presumably a business, to pay for visibility through Facebook Ads.
When a user includes any of your blacklisted keywords in a post or comment on your page, the content will be automatically marked as spam and hidden from your wall.
Hiding the Facebook comment will keep it hidden from everyone except that person and their friends. They won't know that the comment is hidden, so you can avoid potential fallout. Deleting the Facebook comment will erase it; no one will be able to see it.
Tap Uploads and then select the photo you want to make private. After that, tap the three dots in the top right corner. Select Edit post privacy. Change the privacy setting to Only me to hide the photo from your timeline and make it private.
For example if you added a photo of some friends you tagged. If you delete the post it will disappear entirely, but if you only hide it, they will still see the picture on their photos they were tagged in section..
What to Know. To hide a photo: Tap the photo you want to hide, tap the three-dot menu, and then choose Archive. To access an archived photo: Tap the hamburger menu, and then select Archive > Posts Archive. To make a post public again: Tap the archived photo, tap the three-dot menu, and then choose Show on Profile.
Hiding a post only hides it from you, so it will no longer show up in listings on the site. If you don't want others to see it any more, you need to use "delete".
If a user you follow posts something you don't wish to see in your feed - but you don't want to unfollow them or disconnect from them - you can hide the post so you won't see it in your Feed.
If you want to contact Facebook, you'll first need to log into your account. On the desktop site, look up at the top right corner of the screen. There, you'll see a downward-facing arrow — click it and select Help & support from the dropdown menu.
Facebook doesn't let people track who views their profile. Third-party apps also can't provide this functionality. If you come across an app that claims to offer this ability, please report the app.
When you add someone to the Facebook restricted list, you remain friends with them while limiting the posts they're able to see. They will only see your posts if you've set the audience to “Public” (indicated by the globe icon), if they're tagged in it or if a mutual friend tags both of you in the post.
You'll find it in the top right corner of your Facebook account. Scroll down and Click on Activity Log near the bottom of the menu. Scan the filters along the left side of the page and click on “Posts You've Hidden.” You'll see a list of all your hidden Facebook posts.
