On iPhone, go to the Activity app , then tap Sharing. Tap a person you share with, tap their name, then tap either Remove Friend or Hide my Activity. You can also choose to share information with others using third-party apps.
Go to Settings. Tap your name, then tap Family Sharing. Tap your name. Tap Stop Family Sharing.
Each person should use their own Apple ID, and many things will get merged and combined when one is shared, such as photos. Make sure you are logged in to your own Apple ID in System Preferences ➡️ iCloud / Apple ID. It appears that your husband's iPhone and your Mac is sharing the same Apple ID account.
Why are our photos showing up in the other person's iPhone? How do I stop this? You are using the same iCloud ID and are sharing photos via Photostream. You need to either use separate iCloud IDs or turn off Photos in iCloud.
You will only be able to use Messages/FaceTime on one phone because if both phone are signed into Messages/FaceTime, you will see all messages visible on both phones. Any data synced to iCloud will show on both phones. If you want 2 independent phones, you will need to create another Apple ID.
While it's not the same thing, you can remove old phones from your devices list. Go into your Google Play account and click on settings. You will see a list of all the devices you've connected to your account. You can rename them or untick them from your list.
From the Devices section of your Apple ID account page, you can find all of the devices that you're currently signed in to with your Apple ID, including Android devices, consoles, and smart TVs: Sign in to appleid.apple.com,* then select Devices.
It happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices: On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or.
You can log your old iPhone out of the Apple ID / iCloud and create a separate Apple ID for it. This is the real issue that you are facing. Both of your iPhones are using the same Apple ID and therefore are overlapping data, messages and notifications.
Any device that is signed in with the same Apple ID will have access to the same content. The fix for this is the create a new and different Apple ID, and then assign that Apple ID to one or the other of you. You'd sign out of iCloud, out of FaceTime and iMessage and iTunes, and then out of the phone.
The “Screen Mirroring” button within the Control Center of your iOS device lets you do exactly that: duplicate the entire screen of your iOS device to a TV or projector via AirPlay. With Airtame, you can use AirPlay to mirror the screen of your MacBook or use your TV or projector as an extended desktop.
Turn off iCloud Photos in iCloud and all of your devices
Photos and videos stored in iCloud will be deleted 30 days after you stop using the service.
Here is how to not transfer photos to the new iPhone via iCloud; Step 1: First, open the Settings app on your old iPhone and tap on your name at the top. Step 2: Tap on iCloud, then, select Photos and turn ON the toggle next to iCloud Photos and Shared Albums.
To turn off Shared with You, go to Settings > Messages > Shared with You, then turn off Photos (green is on).
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose to Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account.
You need to have different Apple IDs on each phone. Or everything on the cloud will move between every phone.
If confirmation fails, see this Apple support info. If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off and allow several minutes for the deactivation of the old phone to complete. If activation is successful, proceed with step 9; if not, follow the on-screen instructions or contact us.
If you have an iPhone and another iOS device, like an iPad, your iMessage settings might be set to receive and start messages from your Apple ID instead of your phone number. To check if your phone number is set to send and receive messages, go to Settings > Messages, and tap Send & Receive.
Go to Settings. Tap Messages. Turn iMessage off. Go back to Settings.
Ensure the devices can communicate with each other. If the app uses Wi-Fi, each device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network (see “Using Wi-Fi Networks to Connect to the Internet” earlier in this chapter). If the app uses Bluetooth, the devices must be paired.
