The Samsung Smart Switch™ Mobile app allows users to easily transfer content (contacts, photos, music, notes, etc.) to a new Samsung Galaxy device.
You don't need a SIM card in both phones to use a smart switch. Smart switch works on Wi-Fi and not on SIM card, so you can easily transfer data between your phones without having a SIM card in either one.

Switch the new Android phone on. The phone will ideally take it to a set-up screen. On the 'Hi there' screen, select your language and click Start. If you have a SIM card/memory card, remove it from your old phone and insert it into the new one.
