If you want to beat Quiet the old-fashioned way, then your best weapon against Quiet is a sniper rifle, though she can be hit by a Launcher in the right circumstances. Don't worry about using stun weapons. Quiet moves rapidly from perch to perch, usually only staying in one place for a handful of moments.
Don't kill her, she's one of the very few buddies you get in the game. If you kill her, nothing in the game changes besides her being absent.
11/15 She Is Overpowered
Quiet is shown to us as a superhuman, so one would think we could never have her on our side. Yet, she is allowed to kill for us (and that is great), but she is way too powerful, trivializing many of the outposts and missions.
Determine What to do With Quiet
This objective will be completed as you approach Quiet and hold a gun over her. You can fire on her to kill her, or refrain from doing anything, which will save her life and bring her back to Mother Base.
In case you've forgotten, Quiet unceremoniously departs from Mother Base after the completion of Mission 45 and is no longer available for deployment.
MISSION NOTE: KILLING QUIET
If you shoot, Quiet disappears and this will prevent specific story missions from occurring (plus you'll miss out on a useful Buddy)! To get her on the Mother Base roster, redo the mission and leave her alone when Miller gives the order to kill her.
So, by the end of the game (if you've done it right), you realise Quiet has a very strong bond with "Venom Snake", going so far as to break her English-language vow of silence to save you.
To recap a bit about just how absurd this Kojima-created character is, Quiet is an almost entirely mute sniper who can be your “mission buddy” in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (your other options include a dog and a horse).
Don't shower
Not showering in the Phantom Pain will leave your view covered in flies, and will even show how others are physically repulsed by your odour. After what feels like a particularly bad deodorant advert, Ocelot will decide he's had enough, and throw a bucket of cleansing water at you.
Due to her injuries, the parasites compensated for her burned epidermis, giving her the ability to 'breathe' through her skin, requiring her to wear as little clothes as possible, as covering her skin would suffocate her.
She was also demonstrated to have a strong sense of willpower, as after being set alight by Ishmael, she still tried to continue on to fulfill her mission of killing Venom Snake.
When does Quiet leave? A chain of events is set in motion once you complete Mission 41. If you're bond level with her is maxed out then over the course of the next three missions she will gradually disappear.
To recover Quiet as a buddy in Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, players will need to complete mission 11 seven times. During this mission, Snake has to fight Quiet in the desert ruins. When completed, players should make sure to spare Quiet like when she was recruited, and ignore Miller's requests to shoot her.
To make her move when you have the map open you need to press w or s (up and down) and you will get Quiet's commands. You can make her infiltrate outposts to spot enemies or you can tell her to move to a snipe point. You need to do this every time you want Quiet to move otherwise she will stay put.
2/15 Eddie Brock Is The Venom Symbiote's One And Only True Love. Fans sometimes ask questions like "are Venom and Eddie in love?" which cuts to the core of Venom's story arc which is really positioned as a love story with Eddie Brock.
Quiet rarely speaks and carries three sniper rifles with her, the lethal Wicked Butterfly and Sinful Butterfly and non-lethal Guilty Butterfly.
For those of you who don't know, Quiet who is infected with a version of the vocal cord parasite similar to the one that caused an epidemic at mother base.
To increase the bond percentage, take Quiet on missions/Side Ops and let her do all the work for you. The more enemies she shoots and commands given by Snake, the higher her level increases. To use Quiet's "Scout" or "Attack" abilities, bring her on a mission and then open the iDroid menu.
After completing Mission 45, You will lose track of Quiet and thus not be able to use her as buddy. However, with later patches it is now possible to bring her back to the Motherbase and further use her as a buddy.
