If jewelry is particularly dirty, soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Use of silver polishing liquids, silver dips, ultrasonic cleaning and a tumbler should be avoided.
Soak the jewelry in clean water for 4 to 10 minutes if there are stains. If the toothbrush wasn't enough, fill up a bowl with lukewarm water (and nothing else!) and let your jewelry soak in it for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, use the toothbrush again to gently remove the softened dirt.

All sterling silver will tarnish over time, but it will happen much faster when it comes into contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine and acidic skin ph. The amount of tarnishing (oxidation) that occurs is dependent on the skin and care habits of the wearer.
Pandora stores as a rule will offer a complimentary cleaning service – just take in your bracelet and ask in store.
Proper storage will help minimize this while you're not wearing your Pandora jewelry, but the simple act of wearing your bracelet or necklace means that your pieces are slowly tarnish. But don't worry, tarnishing is a natural effect and is not permanently harmful to the silver.
Add a tablespoon of salt. Add a teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and stir. Add your jewelry (not pictured) to the foil-lined pan and pour in the warm solution. Add 1/2 cup white vinegar to the solution and allow to sit for 10-15 minutes.

The warranty does not entitle you to replacements or refunds for lost or stolen items. We recommend the use of safety chains on bracelets and insurance cover is advisable on all valuable jewellery. General wear and tear, misuse and tarnishing are not covered under the warranty.
Using sterling silver alloys
It's standard practice to alloy pure silver with harder metals to improve its strength. Pandora jewellery regularly uses sterling silver: the world's most popular silver alloy.
While the brand is easily accessible here, our team have noticed that Pandora is priced lower in Australia than most markets.
We recommend that customers remove their Pandora jewelry before going to bed, showering, swimming or participating in physical activity. Your jewelry must not be exposed to chlorine or salt water, as this will dull the appearance.
A maker's mark is a US term for a stamp indicating the origin of jewellery. The standard marker's mark on Pandora jewellery is "ALE", which stands for Algot Enevoldsen, the father of Pandora founder, Per Enevoldsen. You will always see "ALE" stamped on our jewellery, except on some of our smallest pieces.
