Five weapons can be “repaired” if broken or lost. Four of these are the Champions' weapons - Revali's Great Eagle Bow, Urbosa's Scimitar of the Seven, Daruk's Boulder Breaker and Mipha's Lightscale Trident. You'll only get these in the first place after completing the Divine Beast associated with each Champion.
Repairs are also limited to the four champion weapons. You receive one from each of the four tribes after you finish the four Divine Beast dungeons. They're powerful, but like almost every weapon in the game, they can break. What makes them special is the fact you can repair them — if you have the resources.
They can be purchased in Goron City for 1000 Rupees each if the player has the funds, which is easier but very expensive. Once all the components are collected, players just need to speak with Fugo to hand them over and get the Boulder Breaker in exchange.
If the Lightscale Trident breaks, it can be taken to Dento himself in Zora's Domain to have a replacement made in exchange for a Zora Spear, a Diamond, and five pieces of Flint.
The Master Sword is unique in that it's the only unbreakable weapon in the game. Its durability wanes with use, but after a few minutes recharging in your inventory, it's good to go again.
“You can both swing with it and throw it.” Tridents are pretty strong – they deal more melee damage than a diamond sword. But be aware that they have the durability of an iron one. So if you find a trident, you might want to keep it for special occasions.
This weapon can break, but, unlike other weapons, you can repair and reforge this weapon.
Answer: In terms of base stats, the Lightscale Trident is better. The Lightscale Trident deals 22 damage with every hit and has a durability of 70. On the other hand, the Ceremonial Trident only deals 14 damage and has a durability of 40.
The Master Sword cannot break due to its unique nature.
After a few more hits, the Master Sword will run out of energy. While the weapon technically disappears from Link's hand it is still in inventory.
Quest Reward(s)
As far as the most expert Zelda players can seem to find, there's only one Side Quest that gives a Zora Spear as a reward called 'Mired in Muck'. To find this Side Quest, just head for the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower.
In the mythology of the series, the Master Sword is created to be wielded by the chosen hero and chooses its own master. According to its fictional legend only someone pure of heart can draw the sword from its pedestal.
The Savage Lynel Crusher is the strongest weapon in Breath of the Wild. Its phenomenal power has a strength level of 78 and a durability of 35, both of which are truly fantastic for the game.
One thing to note here is that only one weapon can be repaired per Octorok, so you'll need to kill the creature and then return once it respawns after the next blood moon to use it again. With this in mind, it's best to note the locations of a few of them so you can get a weapon fixed more readily as and when required.
In Breath of the Wild, if your Hylian Shield broke, you could get another one after fully building Tarrey Town. In tears of the Kingdom, you can rebuy this shield once you've completed The Mayoral Election Side Adventure at Hateno Village.
If indeed you do lose the Hylian Shield, fret not - it can be reclaimed. To do so, you must complete the Side Quest - From the Ground Up - where you must help Hudson build Tarrey Town at Lake Akkala in the Akkala Region.
Does the Hylian Shield break? Yes, the Hylian Shield can break in Tears of the Kingdom, although it takes a long time for this to happen. When your shield's durability is low, you can take it to an Octorok. Once you've located one, simply drop the Hylian Shield next to the Octorok and wait for it to eat it.
The trident, located in Zora's Domain, is difficult to acquire — but not impossible.
We can also increase the chances with the help of looting enchantment which is an 8.5% chance of looting it from the drowned. The normal chance of dropping a trident is 11% but the Looting Enchantment will increase the chance by 2% at every level and the maximum is about 17% chances.
Drowned have a 15% chance of spawning with a Trident in Bedrock Edition (6.25% in Java Edition), and those will themselves have an 8.5% chance of dropping their Trident as an item upon death. Tridents thrown by Drowned cannot be picked up, just like Arrows fired by Skeletons.
Although some fans may question how it is possible to not find a weapon for so long, the truth is that the Silver Longsword is a particularly rare weapon in Breath of the Wild.
Royal Guard's Spear
Royal Guard's Spears have a base power of 32, durability of 15, and can be found inside of Hyrule Castle. They have a massive base damage for a spear, the highest of any polearm - however, their durability leave a lot to be desired.
Also just a regular thunder blade. Do they break? Everything breaks. There is one regenerating weapon in the game, but that too, breaks.
