Children love making artwork of themselves. If you leave a small child with a Crayola marker, you will find the same child with smears and marks and colorful lines all over their skin. Fortunately, Crayola markers are non-toxic and safe for the skin.
But great news, Crayola markers are non-toxic and will not cause harm to your child if the marker ink comes in contact with their skin, is ingested, or inhaled.
Rubbing alcohol (a.k.a. isopropyl alcohol) is probably the most effective product for removing permanent marker from skin. Dip a cotton ball in the rubbing alcohol and then hold it on the skin for a few seconds. Once you've done this, wipe and repeat until the mark is gone – do not rub, as this can irritate the skin.

Alcohol-based hand sanitizers do a good job of removing permanent marker ink. They reactivate the ink, allowing you to easily wipe the stain off. Cover the entire ink stain with hand sanitizer. Let it sit for about 30 seconds and then wipe off the ink with a soft rag.
Toothpaste also works great for removing permanent marker from painted walls without causing damage. As previously mentioned, skip the gel toothpaste and ideally, choose one that contains baking soda.

Gently massage the stained area with a cotton ball or paper towel dipped in nail polish remover. Oil: You can use coconut oil, baby oil, or vegetable oil to help remove the ink stain.
