Add vinegar to the wash. Vinegar is the only thing that works on getting strong smells out of things.
To wash a Squishmallow that has been peed on, add vinegar when washing it in the washing machine. Vinegar can help remove unwanted odor as it acts as a deodorizer [2].
Wash on a Cold Gentle Cycle
Heat will damage your Squishmallow, so washing it in cold water and on a gentle cycle is imperative when cleaning these stuffed toys in a washing machine. Additionally, normal detergent is a fine choice for cleaning these items, but we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals like bleach.
Squishmallows can be cleaned using a damp cloth and spot cleaning the affected area. For small stains using a simple stain remover pen or wet wipe can help. Squishmallows should not be washed in your machine washer or submerged in any way.
Carefully remove the plastic vacuum-sealed packaging containing your Squishmallows. Once removed from packaging, add the newest addition to your Squad for packaging and let them sit out for a few hours. Hug, fluff and rearrange the ultra-soft stuffing until your Squishmallows becomes their intended shape.

Place your squishmallow in a pillowcase and alongside sheets, comforters or other bigger items. Wash your clothes and the plush toy in cold water with your other laundry items. Either let the squishmallow air dry for about one hour or place it in the dryer to tumble dry at the lowest possible temperature.
Give your Squishmallows a quick spot clean if they aren't too dirty. If your Squishmallows don't need a full bath, consider just spot-cleaning them. You can take a wet washcloth and gently blot the spot.

You can definitely use them as a pillow, but they will not provide the same support and comfort when compared to an actual pillow. Squishmallows are generally not as thick or structured as a pillow, which means that they may not provide enough support for your neck and head while you sleep.

Put a light layer of baking soda on the full surface of the stuffed animal and toss them in a bag or pillow case. Shake the bag vigorously for a few minutes and then let it sit for about a half hour so that the soda can absorb all of the oils.
