After viewing the story, close the Instagram app and turn off the Airplane mode. You can now view the Instagram story anonymously, and the user will not be notified that you have viewed their story.
Let's get the bad news out of the way: You may never know exactly who's viewed your Instagram Story. Why? There are several methods viewers can use to watch a Story anonymously. If your Instagram is public, you can see who viewed your Story, so long as no one viewed it in an incognito way.
Simply put, if you can see someones that someone has viewed your Instagram story, then they can that you have viewed theirs. And yes, this is even the case if you are not following each other. If, however, your account is on private, only the people that follow you can see your story.
Instagram never tells other people that you re-watched their stories. Instagram story views only count once. If a person views your Instagram story, it will show you the one view. Even if it re-visits the story 1000 times, it will just show you only.
Instagram does not provide any official feature or tool to track who views your stories anonymously. The app only shows you the number of views your story has received and the usernames of the accounts that have viewed it if they are public accounts.
Can you see who views your Instagram profile? Instagram doesn't allow users to see who views their profile. So if you look through someone's profile and don't like or comment on a post, there's no way for them to know who sees the pictures.
Apparently, now it's based on who the user engages with the most. The people you see appearing at the top of the viewers list are based on your engagement data taken from Instagram and Facebook.
The number next to the ? emoji counts how many friends have rewatched your Story, not the total number of times it's been rewatched. The Rewatch Indicator does not show which friends rewatched your story.
If the same person keeps appearing at the bottom, there's a simple explanation. They follow you, but you don't follow them. Since you don't follow them, Instagram thinks you're unlikely to engage, so they fall to the bottom.
The people you interact with the most or whose Stories you always like to see appear first in line at the top of your screen.
It could be a coincidence that he's the first to view your stories but it is a regular thing then maybe he likes you too! Also by not liking your posts this could be his way of trying to get your attention or it could be that he's too shy to like your posts…
Block someone from watching your Story
If there's someone viewing your Story and you decide you don't want that person to see it: Just tap the three dots next to the person's name.
To look at who's seen your story, open your story and swipe up on the screen. You'll see the number and the Instagram usernames of the people who have viewed each photo or video in your story. If you shared your story to Facebook, scroll down see who saw your story on Facebook.
The Rewatch Indicator does not show which friends rewatched your Story.
"If someone is continuously clicking on a Story, there's definitely an interest in seeing what a poster is up to," she says. "It doesn't mean that they're in love necessarily, but they certainly aren't skipping the posts."
Many reasons. It lost interest in you. It thinks you don't like him, found interest in someone else or he lost interest an found someone else that's more interesting to him.
Typically, the accounts that you engage with the most seem to be listed first in your story feed. It looks like this is somewhat the same for story viewers – meaning that the accounts you engage with the most show up towards the top. This engagement can be measured by accounts you like photos from often or DM the most.
Ghost followers are inactive or fake Instagram accounts that may follow you, contributing to your overall follower count. However, they never interact with your content. Sometimes these accounts are created by real people who simply don't use their account.
To know if someone blocked you on Instagram, try searching for their account. If you can't find their account or see the profile image, you may have been blocked. If you can see their profile and posts on another Instagram account, they may have blocked you.
Use the search engine
One way to find out who is searching for you online is to adopt a search engine, such as Google, Yahoo, or Bing. Type your name into the search bar and see what the result of your search is. If you have a common name, add additional information such as your city or state of residence.
There is no way to see which users saved your Instagram posts. While having a Business or Creator account can show you metrics including how many people saved and shared your posts, it's not possible to see who saved or shared your posts.
