God's Word is the most important step to receive a miracle. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” You can't just know the Word intellectually. You must meditate on it so it becomes living and active on the inside of you. Most of us don't meditate on the Word as we should.
If you don't have enough faith yet to believe for the miracle you need, then you can get it. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17, NKJV). So, start planting the Word in your heart until faith for your miracle is born.
Miracles happen only according to the will of God and our faith in Him. The prophet Moroni wrote, “And neither at any time hath any wrought miracles until after their faith; wherefore, they first believed in the Son of God” (Ether 12:18).
Miracles Happen When You Pray shows that God is still in the miracle working, life-altering business. He has answered the prayers of many -- and he wants to answer your prayers, too.
Lord Jesus, I come before you, just as I am; I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In your Name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce Satan, the evil spirits, and all their works. I give you my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever.
Then even in the most impossible situations, miracles can become possible. The good thing about miracles is that we don't have to wait for them to happen. They happen every day and sometimes even little changes are enough to see big miracles.
The Savior's miracles were “divine acts” as well as “part of the divine teaching” (Bible Dictionary, “Miracles”). Healing and other miracles are still found in the Church today, though they aren't always dramatic and aren't always spoken of publicly because those who experience them hold them sacred.
I pray to you as I am desperate for help. I need to know that you care, that you love me, be my refuge from pain, replacing my distress with peace, and be my strength when I feel weak and find it hard to carry on.
It is simply this—whenever you ask for something you want and you're not totally sure if it's something God wants for you, tack on the phrase “but if not” and then add something you're sure God would want for you.
If you need a miracle in your life today, open your mouth and ask heaven to rain down in your life. Be specific about your needs. YOU DON'T HAVE TO UNDERSTAND MIRACLES IN ORDER FOR GOD TO SEND ONE YOUR WAY.
The Bible is full of miracles. Jesus healed the sick and the blind and even raised Lazarus from the dead. The walls of Jericho fell with just a shout and a trumpet blast. When disciples praised God in prison, their chains fell off and the doors swung open.
These three powerful morning prayers are the prayers of thanksgiving, the Lord's Prayer, and the prayer of Jabez. Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, the Bible tells us to enter his gates with thanksgiving, and Jabez prayed to God and God granted him his request.
miracle, extraordinary and astonishing happening that is attributed to the presence and action of an ultimate or divine power.
As a rough beginning, however, we might observe that the term is from the Latin miraculum, which is derived from mirari, to wonder; thus the most general characterization of a miracle is as an event that provokes wonder. As such, it must be in some way extraordinary, unusual, or contrary to our expectations.
Love Inspires Miracles
Only when we are fully present in this moment, can we truly love unconditionally and only then can miracles occur. Our willingness to be inspired, in Spirit, allows our egoic mind to fall away so we can see the world around us in another way, through the eyes of love.

It is based on Miracles from Heaven by Christy Beam, which recounts the true story of her young daughter who had a near-death experience and was later cured of an incurable disease. Father, I come to you today with faith so small I cannot see a way. I want to believe you are able to do more than I ever imagine. I want to walk by faith and not by sight. God, please bring a miracle into my life.
There are times when God has already given us the thing that we need to get through the situation we feel is too extreme to overcome. Sometimes we just need God to remind us that the very thing we need in order to see the Lord's hand move is already with us. In these cases, we truly only need to pray one time.
The secret to powerful prayer never starts with us. It always begins with Him and is sustained by Him. When we seek Him, He is faithful to draw near and fill us with more of Him. To God be all the glory.
