If your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple Watch is lost or stolen, you can erase it in Find Devices on iCloud.com. To sign in to Find Devices, go to icloud.com/find.
Unlocking Your Computer
From the Windows 10 login screen, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete (press and hold down the Ctrl key, then press and hold down the Alt key, press and release the Delete key, and then finally release the keys).
To lock your phone without a power button, try double-tapping your screen. Many modern Android devices have a double-tap to unlock and lock feature available.
Using the Keyboard: Press Ctrl, Alt and Del at the same time. Then, select Lock from the options that appear on the screen.
Only your carrier can unlock your iPhone. Contact them and request an unlock. After you submit the request, it might take a few days to complete. Contact your carrier to check the status of your request.
Yes, you can unlock a found iPhone if you cannot locate the owner. By holding the right keys, you can quickly factory reset the iPhone you found, and bypass the locked screen on your iPhone.
Even if your iPhone is fully erased, the person who has it can't use it. Activation Lock stays on and there is no way to bypass it. As soon as the iPhone boots up, it asks for an Apple ID and password and it won't go past the activation screen without the information.
When a handset is locked it means it will only work with the provider that you bought it from. If your phone is locked it won't automatically become unlocked when your contract expires with your provider. You'll have to specifically ask your carrier to unlock it. We'll explain how it works in due course.
The “Ctrl + Alt + Del” screen refers to the Security Options window that appears when you press Ctrl + Alt + Del. You can use this screen to lock or restart your device, sign out, switch between users, and quickly access the Task Manager.
There's a built-in option that comes with Android 10 which allows you to lock the screen without using the bottom. In your phone settings, go to "Accessibility" and enable "accessibility menu". This will now put an icon on the the right side of your navigation bar.
Use Biometrics
Simply put on your face in front of the front camera and you're in. Almost all of the modern Android devices have biometrics unluck that doesn't require you to press the power button but simply put your finger on the sensor. Go to System > Security to set it up.
By far the easiest way to restart an Android device without a power button is the Quick Settings panel. This menu has the toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, and many other customizable tiles. Simply swipe down once or twice—depending on your device—and tap the power icon. Select “Restart” from the menu.
Download PowerMenu or Shutdown app from the Play Store. Allow access to your device and check the permissions when you start the app. When you enter the app, go to “Open Power Menu” and the app will invoke the Android power management menu. Shut down or reboot your Android phone.
