Just ask. Explain why you want him to do it. You're in a very comfortable stage in your relationship if you can even consider asking the other to shave their body. Of course, most men don't shave these parts of their body, and will be sensitive to such a request.
Ask him to shave.
If he's secure enough about your relationship and the way he looks, open up about how you feel when it comes to his facial hair. It's often best to be straightforward and honest, and if he doesn't really have serious feelings about it, this is the way to go.
It's fine to say to her, “I'd like it if you shaved sometime, and I was wondering if you'd be open to that,” and maybe even suggest shaving her yourself and making it a sexy activity—as long as you understand, it's her choice in the end.
Tell him a hairless chest turns you on.
If a guy thinks that shaving his chest will persuade you to have sex with him, that may be all you need to convince him. Be careful not to insult him. Don't tell him that you are repulsed by his hairy chest. Simply tell him that you find hairless chests very sexy.
Overall, 40 percent of the women agree. However, 43 percent of the total women surveyed prefer men keep all their chest hair, considering it a sign of masculinity. And 17 percent want a smooth chest without a single hair. For the men, 83 percent said they have just let their chest hair grow.
GROOMING YOUR CHEST HAIR IS NORMAL
Contrary to the OnePoll opinion, a different online survey of 389 American men found that an overwhelming majority of men surveyed were indeed grooming their chest hair.
If you have some, start a conversation about how you're thinking about shaving it off and wonder what he thinks about that. If he likes the idea, tell him you would kind of like it if he did it, too. If he resists, suggest trimming. Offer to help him (if he's never done it, it may be a little scary).
Some teens don't do anything with their pubic hair, leaving it to grow naturally. Some girls remove hair when they'll be wearing a bathing suit, and some remove hair regularly as part of their beauty routine. No health benefits are linked to removing pubic hair, so choose what feels right for you.
Shaving is optional
When you think about shaving your balls, hesitancy is natural. It's why so many guys stop their grooming before they reach for a razor. Despite that, plenty of guys do shave. It's not considered necessary by the fashion leaders of the world.
Should I Shave for a Date? If you normally shave, then yes, you should show up for a date freshly shaven. However, if you normally sport facial hair you should not shave for a date. The person you are going out with should accept you just as you are, and if you love your facial hair, they should too.
Good intentions are often associated with a clean look which would be very helpful in impressing your date. Indeed, stubble gives off an ideal balance between machismo and suave. But if you want to appear extra friendly, sporting a clean shave by shaving daily is the best way to go.
A combination of polls shows that 80 to 90 percent of women prefer some amount of grooming for starters. Only 10 to 20 percent prefer guys with a completely unkempt bush; this means that going wild below the waist is not the default look. It may require less work, but you're not playing the odds.
One study found that people perceive men with beards as less generous, caring, and cheerful than guys without facial hair. That's not to say that a beard is off putting in any way. But clean shave benefits include that you tend to come off a bit less aggressive and nicer (even if it's not true personality-wise).
Some guys have to shave every week. Some guys only have to shave once a month. Very few guys will need to shave multiple times a week (we have a different recommendation for them in the next section). Most guys will end up shaving three to four times a month for the best results.
Pubic hair removal is common — approximately 80 percent of women ages 18 to 65 report they remove some or all of their pubic hair.
Most pubes grow between half an inch and 1.5 inches, according to Steixner.
In fact, it's a major turn on. So please don't take offense to this. It's not that we women think you're disgusting; in fact, we're rather fond of you—and your bodies. But if you really want to seal the deal, or at least get past a first or second date, you might want to take note of the following.
Some will notice their first facial hair from as early as aged nine, while others won't get any until their late teens. Most guys in the US (82%) first notice facial hair between the ages of 12 and 17, and 67% shaved for the first time between 14 and 17.
Like so many things, it comes down to a mixture of genetics and hormones. We know that at least some of the genes for hairiness are carried on the X chromosome – and the way these genes are expressed varies between different men and ethnic groups – but hairiness also correlates with high testosterone levels.
A Stomach Full of Fur
Here's a good—if not obvious—rule of thumb: Depending on the extent you trim your chest, your stomach should be shorn to at least the same level, probably even shorter. It's a visual thing, really. As for below the belly button, don't hesitate to simply pick up a trimmer and go to town.
According to a recent poll, more than 33% of male respondents admitted to trimming the hair on their legs---15% of poll respondents even stated that they shave their legs completely! Reasons for leg shaving may vary, but these are the most common for men.
