The Instagram story viewer is able to work around this problem by simply not using your account. If there is no account, there's nothing for Instagram to detect, meaning you can access that profile without any issues. It's basic common sense!
If you view someone's Instagram story and then immediately block them, they will not be able to see that you viewed their story. When you block someone on Instagram, it restricts their access to your profile and activities, including your story views.
When you block someone from viewing your Instagram story from story settings “Hide story from,” user blocked won't be able to see your stories and nor the highlights, which means your story/account will not appear in their story scroll or bar.
Note: When you hide Instagram Stories from certain people, they won't be able to see anything you post to your story in the future. Hiding Instagram Stories from someone is also different from blocking them and doesn't prevent them from seeing your profile and posts.
If the account is private and you can't find it, you've probably been blocked. If the account is public, and when visiting their page you can't see their profile image, post count, follower count, or following count, and the photo grid area reads "No Posts Yet," you have been blocked.
Tap in the top right, then tap Settings and privacy. Below Who can see your content, tap Hide story and live. Tap Hide story and live from. Select the people you'd like to hide your story from, then tap in the top left.
If your account is private then your followers can only see your highlights. Make sure that your account is not private if you want everyone to see your highlights.
There are multiple ways you can restrict someone on Instagram. If you restrict someone: They won't be able to see when you're online or if you've read their messages. Their new comments on your posts will only be visible to that person, and you can choose to see the comment by tapping See comment.
If your profile is public, anyone can check out your Highlights at any time. If it's private, that privilege is reserved for your followers. Given their permanence, spending hours making them just perfect is a legitimate way to spend your time. Why Is Highlights even a big deal?
However, if you've recently noticed that you are unable to see a certain person's posts in your Instagram feed and it is not that they have a private account. Then, it is possible that they are inactive or simply haven't posted anything in a while.
The answer is no. No one can see how many times you viewed others' Instagram profiles.
Can you see who views your Instagram profile? Instagram doesn't allow users to see who views their profile. So if you look through someone's profile and don't like or comment on a post, there's no way for them to know who sees the pictures.
To look at who's seen your story, open your story and swipe up on the screen. You'll see the number and the Instagram usernames of the people who have viewed each photo or video in your story.
Blocking someone prevents them from commenting on your posts. But when you restrict them, you can both comment on each other's posts. The difference is that the comments from the restricted profile will only be visible to them and no one else. In other words, they will not know their activity has been restricted.
Search From a Web Browser
Type "instagram.com/username" into your address bar. Replace “username” with the actual username of that person. A "Sorry, this page isn't available" message will appear if you have no access to the account. That means the person has either deactivated the account or blocked you.
