God sees each of us through eyes of unconditional love, and He loves everyone—it doesn't matter what they do, where they work, how much money they have, how educated they are or what they look like. We need to do the same. We need to learn to see others as God sees them.
We Are Precious and Honored in His Eyes. In Isaiah 43:4, it says, “Since you are precious and honored in my sight and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.” In God's eyes, we are precious and honored.
He sees you in the Beloved—He sees you in Christ, and He sees the blood that has been shed for you by His dear Son. When God looks at you today, He sees Jesus. Because of this, His thoughts toward you are thoughts of loving-kindness, forgiveness, blessings, and favor.
God sees us as an image of Himself.
Genesis 1:27 says, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” God created us, not as a musician creates a symphony, not as an artist creates a picture, not as a sculptor creates a statue.
We must intentionally put our focus on Jesus and embrace our uniqueness and all that God has given us. He chooses to see us as right and justified because we are in His Son and we believe. He is so much greater than our flaws, struggles, and our past.
Moses Spoke to God Face to Face
In this context, Moses asked to see God's glory. In essence, God responded, “Alright, but not My face revealed in full glory of My goodness. If that were to happen, you would be so radically changed on every level that no one could relate to you anymore.
He Sees Your Tears
When we feel fear, sadness, or despair, our vocabulary of words just can't seem to communicate as well as weeping does. But, God sees your tears. He hears your cry. He is mindful of what scares you and stresses you and saddens you.
Seeing as God Sees
God has seen our entire life and knows how it will play out and how and when it will end. We can trust “the God that sees us” to guide and love us through our journey. He saw us before we were born and sees our future. Trust that He sees you in the here and now as well.
God knows all things, past, present and future, real and potential, and he knows them all at the same time. He not only knows what was, and what is, he also knows what will be. More than that, he knows everything that could be but is not. God does things to teach us lessons.
God often speaks to us through His Spirit, through prayer. We may not know how to pray, but God's Word tells us His spirit makes intercession for us (Romans 8:26-27). Often through a combination of fasting and prayer, our minds become clearer and our hearts are more sensitive to God.
As believers in Christ, we should always take comfort in the fact that God is always watching over us even if we don't see it or feel it. According to Scripture God neither slumbers nor sleeps.
God calls people “into the fellowship of his Son” (1 Corinthians 1:9). We are called “saints” (Romans 1:7). We can now live in peace (1 Corinthians 7:15), freedom (Galatians 5:13), holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:7), and patiently wait with endurance (1 Peter 2:20-21).
God's presence can be felt in different ways. If you've ever been in a group of people who are praying, sometimes it feels like there is a large, comforting, presence in the room, other than that of the people you are with. Sometimes you sense that same presence in church, as I said above.
When God shows up, says Jesus, the proof is right in front of us: "The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them." There's a fancy word for when God shows up: theophany.
One of the names of God in scripture is “El Roi”, which means God who sees me.
"The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming." The wicked come against the righteous, the poor, and needy as if they were to live forever. God laughs, he sees their coming destruction and says, "A little that a righteous man has is Better than the riches of many wicked."
He smiles at you — and not because he sees someone smarter, taller, better looking, or holier standing just behind you. He looks each redeemed child in the eye and tells him of his love for him in his Son. This is who our God is towards us.
“If you cry, you can reach Him,” assures Manickavachagar. Sundarar breaks a promise and the Lord deprives him of sight. Sundarar compares himself to milk in which some dust has fallen. If we see a speck of dust in a jar of milk, do we pour away all the milk?
To see and hear the hidden things of God requires spiritual eyes and ears. Hunger for spiritual truth requires awakened senses, and to love the things of God requires a new heart. (See Ezekiel 11:19 and 36:26.) God alone is the source of spiritual eyes and undivided hearts.
Moses saw God face-to-face upon an unknown mountain sometime after he spoke to the Lord in the burning bush but before he went to free the children of Israel from Egypt (see Moses 1:1–2, 17, 25–26, 42; see also Exodus 3:1–10).
Abstract. In the Bible, St. Paul (Saul of Tarsus) was struck blind by a light from heaven. Three days later his vision was restored by a "laying on of hands." The circumstances surrounding his blindness represent an important episode in the history of religion.
God the Father is spirit. That means he does not have a physical body. He is invisible. He is present everywhere.
