Lilibet has inherited Harry's hair too! The Cut confirms the toddler is 'ginger' just like her father and brother
Prince Harry talked about the “ginger gene” that he passed down from his mother Prince Diana's side to his son and daughter as he appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Prince Harry said that he never even imagined that his and Meghan Markle's children would inherit his hair colour.
Harry, whose son, Archie, 3, and daughter, Lilibet, 1, both have red hair, noted, “I was wrong.”
Harry and Meghan share two children together — three-year-old son Archie and daughter Lilibet, one — who both have red hair.
It's all in the eyes
Harry points out that Lili is the only grandchild in the family to have inherited Diana's blue eyes — what a special feature for the two of them to share. "She's very Spencer-like," he says in one of the episodes. "She's got the same blue eyes ... sort of like a golden reddish hair."
Lilibet certainly has adorable auburn locks!
??? ???? ??? ??????? ?? ?????? shared a post on Instagram: "??? ???? ???? ???????'? It was revealed in Meghan's The Cut interview that Lili has "bright blue eyes" very similar to the ones of her father and late grandmother Princess Diana. We first got to see Lili's blue eye color in her birthday photos from June.
He's not really a redhead, even if five seasons of "Riverdale" had you thinking otherwise. In a January 2017 interview with Teen Vogue, Apa said that he is a natural brunette and he dyed his hair (and eyebrows!) for his "Riverdale" role.

Whilst at the annual WellChild Awards the couple revealed to young winner Milly and her mother, that baby Archie does, in fact, have red hair.
KJ Apa is not a natural redhead, and he's not the only cast member who dyes their hair for the show. Although Archie Andrew's red hair is his signature, Apa is not a redhead in real life. In fact, the Kiwi actor has very dark hair, in part due to his Samoan heritage.
Lilibet has inherited Harry's hair too! The Cut confirms the toddler is 'ginger' just like her father and brother Archie - and was 'unsmiling with bright-blue eyes' as her family frolicked during the interview.
Here's what studies have revealed about redheads and pain: They need about 20 percent more anesthesia to be sedated. They also need more local topical anesthetics, such as lidocaine or Novocain, which is why many redheads have a fear of dentists, according to the American Dentistry Association.
That's right, before she embraced her natural roots and returned to the dark side, Duchess Meghan experimented with her hair colour, spicing it up with an auburn dye job.
The same, then, can be said of Meghan. Because MCR1 is recessive, if both parents carry the gene, just one in four of their children are likely to turn out to be a redhead. But the key is that both parents must be carrying the gene.
We can be almost completely certain that her hair was a golden red, her eyes dark brown, her nose ridged or hooked in the middle, her lips rather thin, and her cheek bones pronounced. Her hair was also probably naturally curly or at least wavy.
Previous studies had shown that redheads inherit two versions of the MC1R gene that leads to red hair – one from their mum and one from their dad. Although almost everyone with red hair has two copies of the red-haired version of MC1R, not everyone carrying two red-haired versions is a redhead.
The royal line is peppered (er, spiced?) with redheads throughout the family tree, including Queen Victoria, Edward VIII, and today, besides Prince Harry, his cousin Princess Beatrice.
Since red hair is a recessive trait, the children of two redheaded parents will almost always be redheaded as well. In contrast, if only one parent is redheaded and the other has brown hair, there is a higher chance that the children will display the dominant trait and will have brown hair.
King Henry VIII of Great Britain, as well as his daughter Elizabeth I, had red hair. Traditionally, the Biblical King David and Mary Magdalene are depicted as having red hair. People with red hair have a higher pain threshold.
One thing that never ceases to amaze is how Archie has inherited his father's hair, and it was on full display in a touching family photo that Meghan has on her desk.
But the reason it seems that way, however, can be mainly credited to two things: One, strong AF Blossom genes and two, not enough beautiful gingers on television. Basically redhead representation isn't really high (since: red hair is rare), so it seems very extra on Riverdale.
One of the most explosive claims from Prince Harry and Meghan's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey that aired on CBS was that there were conversations and concerns about "how dark" their son Archie's skin color would be.
Lilibet is a member of the British royal family and has mixed-race ancestry, having African and European maternal lineage.
Kate Middleton has hazel-green colour eyes, and dark brown hair, while Prince William has fair hair and blue eyes, and it seems each child takes after them in different ways... Prince George has dark brown eyes, which he appears to have inherited from the Middleton side of the family.
Princess Diana loved to play up her striking blue eyes with makeup and for the longest time was hardly ever seen without her signature blue eyeliner. But it soon gave way to a different set of hues, and now, her longtime makeup artist is revealing why.
