The average person will take about 10 minutes or less for their body to process one glass of water because they have normal levels of bodily functions such as digestion and absorption.
A well-hydrated person with a close-to-full bladder will need to pee within five to fifteen minutes of drinking water. A dehydrated person with an empty bladder may take up to nine hours to pee after drinking water.
Liquids leave the stomach faster because there is less to break down: Plain water: 10 to 20 minutes. Simple liquids (clear juices, tea, sodas): 20 to 40 minutes. Complex liquids (smoothies, protein shakes, bone broths): 40 to 60 minutes.

You Drink Too Much Water

A urinary tract infection (UTI)
Besides frequent urination, signs of a UTI include fever, a burning feeling when you pee, discolored urine and constantly feeling like you need to pee (even after peeing). You may also feel bladder pressure or discomfort in your back or around your pelvis.
To help dilute urine, it is important to stay hydrated throughout the day. If you are getting up multiple times overnight to use the bathroom, try to avoid drinking large amounts of fluids right before bedtime and focus your hydration during the day.

The normal range for 24-hour urine volume is 800 to 2,000 milliliters per day (with a normal fluid intake of about 2 liters per day).
Practice "double voiding" by urinating as much as possible, relaxing for a few moments, and then urinating again. Try to relax before you urinate. Tension from worrying about your symptoms can make them worse.
Adults[23]: Less than 50mL PVR is adequate bladder emptying. Over 200mL PVR indicates inadequate emptying.
Sudden stress (pressure) on your bladder causes stress incontinence. Common causes include coughing, sneezing, laughing, lifting and physical activity. Most people need to pass urine about six to seven times in a 24-hour period. Peeing more than seven times a day when drinking about 2 liters of fluid is considered urinary frequency. Needing to pee 20 times a day would be considered frequent urination.
