The cream is designed to stay within the vagina to work without having to reapply every day for seven days. It is normal to get some medicine leakage/discharge.
The symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection should start disappearing within a few hours or days. If there is no improvement in your symptoms in three days or if they have not disappeared within seven days, you might not have a vaginal yeast infection. Discontinue treatment and contact your physician.
When will I feel better? — Most yeast infections go away within a few days of starting treatment. However, you may continue to feel itchy and irritated, even after the infection is gone. If you do not get better within a few days after finishing treatment, call your doctor or nurse for advice.
