There is a total of 6 endings. The player will become the Elden Lord except in the "Lord of Frenzied Flame" ending and the "Age of Stars" ending. Any of the four Elden Lord endings grants the Trophy/Achievement, meaning you only need to clear the game 3 times to get all of them, and not 6.
The good news is you can unlock all the endings in one playthrough, and most can simply be selected once you've beaten the final boss. However, some require a lot more work than simply making it to the Elden Ring.
The most difficult ending to achieve in Elden Ring is the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending. To get this ending you need to undertake a pretty obtuse and esoteric quest, meaning you might not ever come across it over the course of your standard play.
Considering this, some Elden Ring players may be surprised to learn that it's the most popular ending in the game. As pointed out by Reddit user Healthy-Platypus6145, the Age of the Stars ending in Elden Ring is the most common among Steam players, with 25.8% of users unlocking the achievement associated with it.
A powerful witch, Empyrean, and antivillain inhabiting the body of a human-sized doll, and a major figure in the game's lore, she desires to overthrow the Greater Will, the Outer God that created the eponymous Elden Ring, replacing it with the power of the Dark Moon.
#6 Elden Ring's Worst Ending - Lord of The Frenzied Flame
Although Elden Ring has no "good" or "bad" endings as such, with most of them being alike, The Lord of Frenzied Flame ending is as close as it comes to the worst ending in Elden Ring, with the player being responsible for the burning of The Lands Between.
Elden Ring has six endings to choose from, with each leaving The Lands Between and the Erdtree in different states. The art for Shadow of the Erdtree depicts the Erdtree still standing, albeit in a decayed state. This would seem to remove the Frenzied Flame ending, which sees the Erdtree in ruins, as a canon option.
The Age of Fracture ending is the one that Melina wanted throughout the game. She's sacrificed herself as kindling to burn down the Erdtree, and fulfilled her goal of seating the protagonist on the Elden Throne.
The Age of Fracture is the easiest and simplest ending to obtain, and might as well be considered the default or standard ending to Elden Ring.
Refusing Melina's offer in Elden Ring will block your progression in the game. Accepting her offer is the only way to level up in the game, and she's the one who will give you the key item Spectral Steed Whistle, which you can use to summon Elden Ring's horse Torrent.
You may think this sounds easy, that you'll just miss out on a couple of side quests and vendors, righ? Wrong. ymfah states that they will only talk to NPCs that are absolutely required to progress the main story, but they also show us early on in the video that talking to Melina is actually optional.
Melina and Ranni are the same.
Ranni we already know is the daughter of Rennala. Melina at some point also admits to being daughter of Marika (she was given purpose by her mother inside the Erdtree).
How to Save Melina in Elden Ring? At the end of the day, to save Melina, you have to take her place as the sacrificial offering to the Erdtree by making her leave you before the conclusion of her arc.
Instead of touching the item that leads to the Elden Lord ending, use that sign to summon Ranni - and that gives you the Age of the Stars ending. In this ending, Ranni ushers in a new age governed by the moon, apparently sweeping away the Golden Order and its rule over The Lands Between.
If you want to see all Elden Ring endings, you'll need to complete various NPC quests before reaching the final boss. It's also worth noting that you'll need to complete multiple playthroughs if you want to see every Elden Ring ending, so prepare to spend a lot of time in the Lands Between.
You will need to take her place as the sacrifice to light the Erdtree, and even though you'll be saving her life in the process, Melina will hate you forever.
Elden Ring: Melina's Eyes
So too does Ranni the Snow Witch, and they each have a different eye closed. Melina will open her eye and reveal a dusky and murky dark blue, which many connect to the Gloam-Eyed Queen, under certain constants in the Lord of Frenzied Flame Ending.
Melina is daughter of Queen Marika and thus a demigod like the Shardbearers the Tarnished must slay to become Elden Lord. She forms a relationship with the Tarnished simply to find out the purpose her mother has given her.
Marika was married to the first Elden Lord, Godfrey, but when he became Tarnished and subsequently exiled from the Lands Between, she took a new husband — Radagon. She married herself.
YouTuber and data miner Garden of Eyes has discovered Elden Ring's secret 7th ending hidden away in the game files. Apparently the quest Elden Ring players need to complete to actually unlock this ending in-game was cut for whatever reason, but the cutscene itself remains intact.
Any of the four Elden Lord endings grants the Trophy/Achievement, meaning you only need to clear the game 3 times to get all of them, and not 6. There is no clear good, bad, or true ending due to the ambiguity of the fate of the Lands Between after the player character mends the Elden Ring in most endings.
The list is unsurprisingly topped by the infamously difficult Elden Ring boss Malenia, whose encounter was attempted some 329 million times, thus accounting for 5.5% of all in-game boss fights the players initiated to date.
Elden Lord is a title of great reverence. Godfrey was the first one to hold this title and was later replaced by Radagon.
This is the Dung Eater's ending, in which you use the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse on Fractured Marika. To do this you have to follow the Dung Eater quest, but it's undoubtedly a bad ending, since you curse the world and all of its inhabitants. As if the folks of the Lands Between didn't already have it bad enough.
She leaves behind a shining, golden tree when she dies in battle that replenishes your health, and the same thing happens if she dies at a Site of Grace. Melina will reappear after this point as if nothing happened and can still be summoned during the Morgott fight.
