The Jedi Masters confronted the Chancellor in his office, and Sidious lashed out at them, killing the three other Jedi Masters and engaging Windu in a lightsaber duel.
Aftermath. Although Order 66 greatly depleted the Jedi Order's ranks, with an estimated less than 100 Jedi surviving it, it was only the beginning of the Great Jedi Purge, which stretched on for years and claimed the lives of many of the survivors of the initial onslaught.
Still, some rough math along with a bit of information from the canon tells us that about 10,000 Jedi existed prior to Order 66, almost all of whom died.
The accepted number is usually around 10,000 for both canon and Legends. In canon, less than 1% of the total number of Jedi were thought to have survived the Order 66 purge. It is said that around 100 survived.
As a result, Darth Nihilus arrived as the Jedi assembled and annihilated every living thing upon the planet, both the Jedi and the Miraluka colonists. The sole survivor of the attack was the Miraluka Visas Marr, whom Nihilus captured and trained as his apprentice.

The Lothal Jedi's final stand
During the mission to Batuu, Darth Vader reflected on how the war against the Jedi Order had been won. Still, even as the Empire and the consolidated Rebel forces that had come to be known as the Rebel Alliance fought, several Jedi had survived the purge.
By the end of The Rise of Skywalker, Rey had become the last known Jedi of the Skywalker Saga. With all that being said, Rey was not left as the last remaining Force-sensitive character.
Jedi Master Yoda is the most powerful of them all. This should come as no surprise, as he was the head of the Jedi Order in the prequels and was revered for his abilities during the original trilogy. Yoda's power is unmatched and was a real threat to Darth Vader and the Imperials.
The two biggest have been Trilla Suduri, known as the Second Sister from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Reva Sevander, also known as Third Sister from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Other Inquisitors have been featured across the canon, acting as Jedi hunters under the command of the Grand Inquisitor and Darth Vader himself.
The Conclave of Katarr was the assembly point for many Jedi, who underestimated the power of Nihilus. When he consumed the life of the entire planet, almost all the 100 Jedi that were gathered there lost their lives.
Eventually, after many wars, the Jedi defeated and seemingly destroyed the Sith in the final, decisive conflict. However, one Sith Lord survived: Darth Bane.
Order 67 was an order requiring clone troopers to dance. During the Battle of Utapau, Darth Sidious accidentally issued Order 67 when he meant to use Order 66. Just after the order was executed, Cody and his troops began dancing. However, Sidious browsed a manual and executed Order 66.
Secura cared deeply for her master, who was uniquely strong in the Force. Many theorists believe that she was also immensely powerful in the Force. If this was case, the reason for the clones gunning her down may have been to ensure that she wouldn't get up to inflict massive damage with her abilities.

1 Darth Sidious
There has been no Sith, as powerful, meticulous, nor as evil as the Emperor himself, Darth Sidious. As previously mentioned, Sidious trained in the Dark Side by Darth Plagueis before Sidious killed Plagueis in his sleep, making Sidious a Sith Master.
#1 – Yoda. Yoda is widely considered to be the greatest Jedi of all time, and with good reason. He is a master of the Force, a skilled warrior, and has an unmatched wisdom that comes from centuries of experience. He is the embodiment of what it means to be a Jedi, and his legacy lives on long after his death.
George Lucas himself has stated that Anakin is the Chosen One and that the prophecy is true, although it had been misinterpreted by the entire Jedi Order. Lucas believes that both the dark side—greed— and the light side—compassion—are integral parts of human beings.
What is the connection between Kylo Ren and Rey? As Kylo Ren himself says in The Rise of Skywalker, he and Rey are bonded not just by their familial legacies (Ren as the grandson of Darth Vader and Rey as the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine) but by their unique connection in the Force.
