DOROS (Dorus) A king of the Kouretes tribe of Aitolia (central Greece). He was one of the three sons of Apollon and Phthia.

Asclepius is said to have been Apollo's favorite demigod child. Asclepius became even more skilled in medicine than his father Apollo, most likely because he devoted all of his time to it.

MOUSAI (Muses) Apollon was said to have loved all nine Mousai, and not being able to marry all nine, chose to remain unwed.
She was represented in art and literature with her bow and her hunting dogs, and often with her short dress that made hunting easier. One of Artemis' other major attributes was her virginity. Unlike most Greek women, Artemis remained unmarried and never had children. She was therefore known as chaste.
Apollo's love for Daphne was so strong that the god of prophecy was unable to foretell his future but still, his emotions were uncontrollable. He approached the nymph whom he now saw more beautiful and virtuous than she actually was.
The sharp, gold-tipped arrow pierced the heart of Apollo inflaming his love for Daphne, a beautiful nymph, daughter of the river god Peneus, while the blunt, lead-tipped arrow struck the nymph creating an intense aversion for love in the her heart.
The Birth of Apollo
He was an illegitimate child, with his father being Zeus and his mother Zeus' mistress Titaness, Leto. When Zeus' wife Hera found out about the pregnancy, she flew into a rage and forbade the mistress Leto to give birth on land and sent the deadly Python to chase her away.

He Was Killed By Zeus
Zeus too feared that Asclepius' extraordinary healing abilities would close the eternal gap between gods and mortals. For these reasons, Zeus struck down and killed Asclepius with his thunderbolt. Apollo protested his son's murder by killing the Cyclops who had forged Zeus' thunderbolt.

He was unlucky in love
For all his weakness for nymphs and beautiful mortals, very few were willing to receive his advances. For example, the nymph Daphne ran away from him when he tried to pull her into his arms.
Apollo's most famous love interest was Daphne, a nymph who had once vowed to Artemis to remain eternally innocent. Apollo, however, fell for her and persistently stalked her, until one day Daphne couldn't take it no more. She asked from her father, the river god Peneus, to be transformed into something else.
Artemis, in Greek religion, the goddess of wild animals, the hunt, and vegetation and of chastity and childbirth; she was identified by the Romans with Diana. Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and Leto and the twin sister of Apollo. Among the rural populace, Artemis was the favourite goddess.
