Most of our patients visit us once every 6-12 months, but this isn't a hard-and-fast rule. If you get a very long-lasting filler and you take good care of your skin, you might need fewer appointments. On the other hand, people who have several facial areas treated often need to see us more frequently.

These fillers are sometimes seen as radiopaque shadows on radiographic images, either due to the fillers themselves or because of secondary reactions; such findings may present a diagnostic challenge to dentists.
Overfilling results when too much filler is placed and the area look unnatural or artificial. To avoid this, it is helpful to evaluate each area in a mirror as it is filled. If it is estimated that 1.0cc of filler would be needed, check the area after 0.5cc is placed before adding additional filler to that area.
