Can I use 1.35 V RAM instead of 1.2 V? It should work just fine. However if the system already has 1.2v ram installed this could be the power limit. As long as you don't perform any overclocking on the 1.35v ram it should have no issues.
Charging from a 24 volt system to a 12 volt system
Using a split charge relay (VSR) would just send the alternator's 24V charging voltage to the 12V battery which would cause damage. Instead, you would need a 24 volt to 12 volt DC-DC charger.
To install a 24-volt battery into your 12v ride-on, you'll need to take it apart and use an alligator clip wire from the 24-volt battery to connect to the power input. Install in reverse order for removal.
If you were to run a 12v motor off a 24v battery the stall current could then be excessive if it weren't limited by the controller. Therefore, provided you chose a controller suitable for the motor you use, you can usually run a motor 12v motor from a 24v battery with no effect except that full speed is doubled.
