Enhanced Strength: Allen possesses incredible degree of superhuman strength, making him consistently able to sustain lifts 800 lbs (363 kg), and bench pressing 1,100 pounds (500 kg) as a warm-up.
Soldier Boy is frequently described as being nearly as strong as Homelander, which is proven in the episode Herogasm, where his superhuman strength and durability rivals that of Homelander, allowing him to fight him almost evenly.
Even though Soldier Boy could not take down Homelander with the help of Hughie and Butcher (Karl Urban) using temporary doses of Compound V, it was abundantly clear that he is still the closest anyone has been to the individual strength of Homelander.
Make no mistake, Homelander is more powerful than Soldier Boy, but can he take him out in a fight? We don't think so. Besides, unlike Homelander, who probably wants all the credit for himself, Soldier Boy isn't above asking for help.
The superhero Soldier Boy was given a shield with an eagle emblem sometime after World War II, during which he preferred to carry a submachine gun. The shield is very heavy, as normal humans cannot lift it, while he can wield it with ease. In 1984, Soldier Boy and Payback were stationed in Nicaragua.
Assuming Mother's Milk means a fully-loaded truck, then Homelander could approximately lift 960,000 pounds or 480 U.S. tons. That means Homelander could support the weight of two Statues of Liberty or even a couple of blue whales.
Soldier Boy would win in a fight against Captain America. Although Captain America has the experience and fighting skills, he doesn't have Soldier Boy's strength and durability. On top of that, Soldier Boy recently obtained the powerful ability to release nuclear energy blasts from his body.
Powers and Abilities
However, he is still relatively strong, similar to a super-soldier. Superhuman Speed: Soldier Boy is able to dodge bullets as well as punches and blows easily. Skilled use of his shield: Soldier Boy is an expert user of his shield, which he uses as a melee weapon.
The fact that Noir fled instead of going with Homelander to face Soldier Boy indicates that his former team leader has the strength to hurt him as well. Indeed, Noir's reminiscing of 1984 showed Soldier Boy decisively overpowering him and nearly killing him.
Blunt Force/Limited Durability: Supes such as Homelander, Soldier Boy, Black Noir, Queen Maeve, and Stormfront possess strength greater than hers and can overpower and even kill her. Also, her skin is not completely indestructible, since Frenchie was able to pierce through her skin with a drill.
Kimiko also forms tight friendships with Hughie and Starlight. Though she isn't always a fan of her powers, she never hesitates to use them to protect the people she cares for. Kimiko is the strongest hero of The Boys, with heightened levels of superhuman strength, durability, speed, and reflexes.
As a result, he gained strength and enhanced reflexes, as well as a healing factor that allows him to keep fighting even after sustaining injuries that would take down a normal human. He's not, however, immortal or totally immune to harm.
The grand finale of The Boys comic book series confirms that there is only one hero who is actually stronger than Homelander, and that's his (even more) evil clone, Black Noir. Created to be an upgraded version of Homelander, Black Noir proves his superiority in the final battle between these two deranged powerhouses.
First thing's first: Maeve is, like, top 5 Supes of all time. She should be in the tier directly below Homelander and Soldier Boy. She was the difference maker against Stormfront, after all.
Decelerated Aging/Longevity: Despite having been born in 1919, Soldier Boy appears to not have aged at all since World War II, as he has the appearance and the health of a man in his early thirties.
Soldier Boy is just as, if not more, powerful than the unhinged Supe and his return could dethrone him from his seat at the top of the food chain. At the end of The Boys season 3, episode 6, Soldier Boy got really close to killing Homelander, but the Supe managed to escape before any real damage was done.
Spoilers for The Boys comic book and television series! Billy Butcher once made his last name quite literal when he tortured and killed Soldier Boy during one of his darkest moments in The Boys comic book series.
In the comics, Black Noir is a long-time member of the Seven, almost always shown in silhouette with his face obscured. His powers include super strength and supposed skills as a pilot. He is stronger than even Homelander; Mother's Milk states he can "[...] bench a dozen Mack trucks".
It is likely that whatever this power is also prevented Black Noir from healing almost 40 years prior. The attack that decimated the Payback team and permanently scarred Black Noir is not fully shown on screen, but hinted at in dialogue between Grace Mallory and Crimson Countess.
He showed remorse for the lives lost when he had unleashed his radiation blast, quietly admitting to Hughie that he wasn't a bad guy and he didn't mean to hurt them, though based off his later actions it is unknown if he was being genuine.
In combat between the two, they are fairly equal, but Homelander's heat ray vision cannot cause the same level of destruction as quickly or easily as Soldier Boy.
Soldier Boy has super strength and an invulnerability to him, which basically makes him one of the strongest supes out there. Decked out with a shield, he is bulletproof too and has shown that he can easily go toe-to-toe with Homelander.
In the TV version of The Boys, the character is also a WWII hero who possesses superhuman speed, strength and durability, again thanks to a special serum. His longevity appears to be real in the show however. The TV version also alludes to the fact that he was an abusive monster behind closed doors.
However, no matter how hard Homelander may try, it seems very unlikely that he would ever be able to beat Hulk in any scenario. Though both are incredibly strong, Hulk is arguably stronger than even Superman. Furthermore, Hulk's abilities grow stronger the angrier he gets.
Captain America
Rogers' analytical mind combined with his immense strategic acumen make him one of the greatest heroes Earth has to offer. In a one on one fight with Black Noir, the Super Soldier will lose because Black Noir can keep up with him very easily.
