Assuming a proportional relationship between grip strength and what the average male American can lift, back-of-the-envelope math suggests Thanos could heft 120 million pounds, 10 million pounds more than the weight of the Titanic.
All of these factors lead to Thanos being easily able to lift 100 tons, putting him in the same category as Thor, Hulk, and powerful celestial beings. Thanos is also skilled with hand-to-hand combat and was trained in the Art of War while on Titan.
Kennely weighs 290 pounds, so he benches 3.7 pounds per pound of Bodyweight. If we use the ratio alone, and we take into account that Thanos weighs 985, according to Marvel, we get a 3614 pound bench press.
The bottom line is Thanos wins virtually every time that he and the Hulk go one-on-one against each other – not because he is stronger, but because he's more skilled and more intelligent.
Presumably, then, Thanos possessed at least Class 100 strength, enabling him to lift (press) over 100 tons. Known Superhuman Powers: Thanos possessed incalculable superhuman power.
Who is Stronger: Thor or Thanos? When it comes to brute strength and power, Thanos seems to be the clear winner. He is able to destroy an entire planet easily and was even capable of standing the electrical shockwave that emanates after snapping his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet on.
The Mad Titan's Muscles Explain How He Beat Hulk
His odd purple tones aside, the first thing many people notice about Thanos is his bulky frame. At just over 6.5 feet tall and closing in at nearly 1,000 pounds of (mostly lean) muscle, it's easy to see why the average human would find him intimidating.
That villain is, of course, Kang the Conqueror, who's set to be the Avengers' next opponent in the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. And while Thanos is certainly a hard act to follow, Kang may be a far greater threat than the Mad Titan ever was.
Thanos would win in a battle against Superman. He has more powers and abilities at his disposal and excels at both unarmed and armed combat, which was never Superman's greatest strength.
Thanos didn't lift Mjolnir, Captain America did
With Mjolnir's worthiness enchantment resulted in Thor being able to lift the hammer only if he is considered to be worthy, but likewise, the enchantment is not discriminatory in nature, and anyone who is deemed worthy is able to lift the hammer.
Great Power. Like his namesake, Spider-Man's strength and agility stand far above those of the average human, allowing him to lift nearly ten tons and to leap and move at incredible speeds with high accuracy.

Strength Level: At full power, Galactus possesses Class 100 strength, enabling him to lift well over 100 tons, and he can use his vast power to increase his strength immeasurably beyond that.
Superhuman Strength: Loki possesses superhuman strength that is substantially superior to that of an average Asgardian male. He can lift up to 50 tons.
Colossus' incredible strength class is 100+, which means he can consistently lift above 100 tons. Colossus' most ridiculous feats in the comics further prove his elevated strength class.
Strength Level: Hercules is of "Class 100" strength, able to lift (press) over 100 tons. (The average male Olympian god is capable of lifting about 25 tons.) Known Superhuman Powers: Hercules' principal power is his superhuman strength.
Based on the analysis of powers, speed, strength, durability, and combat, we can safely say that Odin is stronger than Thanos and outmatches him in almost every aspect. Thanos might be among the most feared villains in the Marvel Universe, but he comes nowhere near when compared to All-Father Odin.
Thanos is more powerful than Ghost Rider and would easily win in a battle. Thanos is stronger, faster, and more durable than Ghost Rider and has more varied powers and abilities, and with them, he can easily counter everything Ghost Rider can throw at him.
Thanos is immensely strong and resistant to injury, invulnerable to nearly all types of poison, disease, and telepathic attack. He also has incredible psychic abilities; he can sense things several star systems away.
Armed with his new tools for battle, Thor defeats the Angry Titan by smashing his head with Mjolnir. In Avengers: Infinity War, Thor managed to lethally wound the Mad Titan with the Stormbreaker despite taking on the full force of the Infinity Gauntlet. Sadly, he didn't go "for the head."
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed hints at Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror as a bigger villain than Thanos.
1 Galactus
Marvel has many powerful immortals, but few can match Galactus. The World Devourer controls the full might of the Power Cosmic, which gives him near complete control of energy and matter.
The amazing thing about the Hulk is that unlike nearly every other superhero ever created, the Hulk's strength has absolutely no upper limit. He can lift a commercial airplane – which weighs around 100 tons – when he is at his calmest; that's no problem for him.
The Hulk: 11 million lb.
In the MCU, he's rarely seen lifting solid objects; he usually winds up smashing them instead.
As Bruce Banner, the character is about 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m) tall and weighs 128 lbs (58.05 kg), but when transformed into the Hulk, the character stands between 7 and 8 ft (2.13 - 2.43 m) tall and weighs between 1,040 and 1,400 lbs (471.73 - 635.02 kg).
