Wookiees had an average lifespan of 400 standard years, and they appeared not to age over a span of fifty years. Their lifespans dramatically decreased due to the harsh working conditions in the spice mines of Kessel.
Chewbacca's Age
According to official lore, Chewbacca was born 200 years before the Battle of Yavin. So, he's 200 years old during the events of Star Wars a.k.a. A New Hope.

Zorba the Hutt's Revenge (1992), a young-adult novel by Paul and Hollace Davids, identifies Jabba's father as another powerful crime lord named Zorba and reveals that Jabba was born 596 years before the events of A New Hope, making him around 600 years old at the time of his death in Return of the Jedi.
The second time Yoda mentions his long life is in Return of the Jedi, when he tells Luke, “When you reach 900 years old, you will not look as good as you will.” If we take Yoda at his word, that means the Jedi Master died at the ripe old age of 900.
Mallatobuck (meaning "beautiful singer" in Shyriiwook), also known as Malla, was a female Wookiee from Kashyyyk. She was the wife of Chewbacca, and mother of their son Lumpawaroo.
The species had a very long life expectancy, spanning at least several centuries; Yoda lived nearly a thousand years before dying of old age, and they aged very slowly, remaining in infancy for at least fifty standard years.

Age of the Empire
At the end of the Clone Wars, numerous Wookiees were slaughtered by the clone troopers they allied with in the ensuing chaos of the anti-Jedi Order 66, and soon after the establishment of the Galactic Empire, their homeworld of Kashyyyk was blockaded by the Empire.
Creator George Lucas has explained via a DVD commentary that the reason they were changed to Ewoks was because it wouldn't make sense for the moon's creatures to have a stone-age culture when Chewbacca is so technologically adept at flying spaceships and the like. -- The name "Ewok" is an anagram for "Wookie." Sort of.
5 Ruhr. The last Star Wars Legends Wookiee was technically the first ever Wookiee Jedi, since he predated the First Jedi and the founding of the Jedi Order itself. Ruhr held the rank of Je'daii Temple Master: one of the highest ranks attainable in the Je'daii Order on Tython.
As the Death Star had been destroyed, and the Battle of Yavin had finally taken place, the years then moved into ABY (After the Battle of Yavin). It's said that Star Wars: Return of the Jedi takes place during 4 ABY, meaning Palpatine was 88 when he met his original end.
According to the events of "The Mandalorian" so far, Grogu and Yoda are not the same character. They are simply from the same species. The name of this species has never been revealed since "Star Wars" creator George Lucas wanted to give Yoda a sense of mystery.
