In the original series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, Velma is only 15 years old, which is where the term “meddling kids” come from. Fred, Shaggy, and Daphne weren't much older than her. In later versions, like Scooby Doo Zombie Island or What's New, Scooby Doo?, they seem more like they're in their twenties.
