Angel is the title character on the show. He's a vampire with a soul who was originally born in Galway, Ireland in 1727 and became a vampire in 1753 as the age of 26.
In School Hard, Spike's first appearance, Rupert Giles states that Spike is "barely 200", but that's retconned later. He's actually only about 120 (not including his human years, which vampires don't seem to count toward their ages). We see in Fool For Love that he's turned in London in 1880 by Drusilla.
The Age Difference Between Angel And Buffy
Buffy is 16 when she meets Angel in Season 1. Angel was turned into a vampire when he was 24, though he is technically 241 years old when he starts a relationship with the Slayer. Angel is older than Buffy as a human and a vampire.
Angel joined the cast of Buffy in the first season and over time fans were able to find out more about his past. He was sired at the age of 26 and was cursed with a human soul, which meant he forever showed remorse towards his innocent victims.
How old is Angel/Spike/Drusilla/Darla? Their sirings are all shown in flashbacks: Angel was turned in 1753, Spike in 1880, Drusilla in 1860, and Darla in 1609. Angel is 26, Drusilla is 19.
Kakistos was an old vampire whose hands and feet had turned cloven. Its Greek name meant "the worst." After killing Faith's first Watcher, Kakistos sought the Slayer in Sunnydale to avenge the scarring she left on him.
Slayers are usually called at about fifteen years old, and Faith was called approximately two years after Buffy. Buffy also called Faith her "little sister slayer" or something along those lines. And the next point doesn't matter much in the world of acting, but Sarah Michelle Gellar is older than Eliza Dushku.
Angel told Buffy this at the last minute. He confessed he loved her completely, but they couldn't be together when it cost her life and the people they still needed to help against the evil forces.
First three seasons of Buffy happen before Angel storyline, so they should be watched first. Also, the last season of Angel happens after Buffy events. 4th and 5th Buffy seasons were shown back-to-back with first two seasons of Angel, so it's natural to think that it should be correct watching order.
Parents. Spike's mother was played by Rhonda Kristi. No father has ever been identified, but it is known that Ms. Nelson was approximately 17 when she became pregnant with her daughter, and was a single mother.
In June 1989, Spike eventually went into labor at the grade 8 graduation dance at the end of season 2, in the episode, Pass Tense. Both of them were 14 when Christine, who goes by Spike, got pregnant.
Spike calls Angel his sire, an intentional misdirection to make fans believe that Angel was the vampire who sired him. When Spike uses sire he also mentions "Yoda", indicating that he thought of Angel as his mentor - the father-figure who taught him after he became a vampire.
Although more crossovers happen with other characters and Angel would return to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) never makes an appearance in Angel again.
In the Angel episode "I Will Remember You," Buffy is reunited with Angel and Cordelia and introduced to Doyle when she shows up at Angel Investigations offices.
Angel/Angelus
Angel lost his soul twice: first, when he slept with Buffy Summers, and again, due to a spell.
Cordelia fell into a coma giving birth to Jasmine, and a season later she died offscreen in a hospital bed, the events leading up to her death erased from history.
In the episode "Waiting in the Wings", Angel realizes he has romantic feelings for Cordelia, but is prevented from voicing them by the return of Groosalugg. Cordelia dates Groosalugg for the remainder of the season, but Groo notices she loves Angel instead and decides to leave.
Buffy finally told Spike that she loved him — the first time she used the words "I love you" romantically to anyone since Angel —, but Spike replied: "No you don't, but thanks for saying it," and told her to leave him behind.
"I read you five by five" means the speaker is hearing a voice at full strength and clarity. Faith's expression means that everything is going well.
However, Faith Lehane (Eliza Dushku) eventually proves herself as the second most powerful Slayer after Buffy.
He called in the Watchers Council to apprehend Faith, and a special team attacked and briefly captured her. Traumatized by the incident and isolated from the people she trusted, Faith went to the dark side. She turned to the villainous Mayor, Richard Wilkins, offering to help him in his plans for his demonic Ascension.
1. Spike. We know that Team Angel fans are probably screaming at their computers right now, but hear us out. There are plenty of reasons Spike was the most powerful vampire in the Buffyverse.
Gunn discovers a demon gang war is imminent unless the dead leader's head is recovered from Rome, so Angel and Spike travel to Rome to retrieve the head. They find out that Buffy is dating their nemesis "The Immortal".
Buffy's second death did not result in another slayer being called because of Faith—a new slayer would not be called until her death; however, Buffy's second resurrection for some reason caused an imbalance in the Slayer line.
