Responding to a fan's question of what happened to him after the Harry Potter books ended, Rowling replied with the sad – and actually quite blunt – news that he had passed away. “He died, aged 666” she wrote. Oh. We always thought the Black family's House Elf actually looked older, anyway.
How old was Kreacher in Deathly Hallows? Unlike in the book and video game adaption, Kreacher was not given the fake locket by Harry in the first part of the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. J. K. Rowling mentions that Kreacher died at the age of 666.
According to the WOMBAT test, it is possible that house-elves have an average life expectancy of 200 years, cannot be ordered to kill themselves, breed infrequently and only with their master's permission, can override wizard enchantments, and have an allegiance to their home rather than its inhabitants.
The Black family elf Kreacher did not have any love for many people other than his master. However, as hateful as she is to most people, Bellatrix was always very kind to Kreacher. In fact, Kreacher even kept a picture of Madame Lestrange by his bed because of how kind she was to him.
The potion, (the same one Dumbledore drank) caused Kreacher to have nightmarish delusions, intense stomach pains and made him dehydrated. Voldemort then left, leaving Kreacher to drink from the lake (as any water conjured evaporates) and die at the hands of the Inferi.
Kreacher was quite rude to Sirius – but Sirius was no angel to Kreacher either. Sirius, as I have indicated already, was not fond of the house-elf because it echoed the Black's opinions relentlessly. Sirius couldn't stand anyone harping on as his late family did, and Kreacher devoted his later life to doing it.
Sirius makes the fatal error of underestimating Kreacher. Believing him unable to leave Grimmauld Place except on his orders, he doesn't realise that an angrily bellowed order of 'Out!
Voldemort took Kreacher to the Crystal Cave and forced him to drink the potion in the basin so that Voldemort could place Salazar Slytherin's Locket in the basin. The potion, (the same one Dumbledore drank) caused Kreacher to have nightmarish delusions, intense stomach pains and made him dehydrated.
She married Rodolphus Lestrange after leaving Hogwarts "because it was expected of her" to marry a pure-blood. However, Rowling stated in an interview that Bellatrix truly loved Voldemort.
"The horcrux amplified the negative emotions that Ron had and similarly it makes Kreacher hate mudbloods even more and disrespect Hermoine way more than he would have if he didn't have the horcrux," kaptinkracker concludes.
Average Elven Lifespan
Elves have the ability to live forever thanks to their immortality. Elves like Elrond, who was over 6000 years old in The Lord of the Rings, are not hard to come by.
Elves take their time doing things because of their long life span. So to them 100 years feels like what 20 years feels like to a Human.
Age: Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as Humans, the elven understanding of Adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims Adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.

Being born in October 1637 and living until between September and December 1992, Dippet definitively lived until the ripe age of 355.
The absence of love
Dumbledore suspected Voldemort was probably conceived under a love potion. Voldemort's mother Merope Gaunt was said to have used Amortentia on his father, Tom Riddle Sr – a Muggle, who later abandoned her once she stopped using the potion on him.
Delphini, nicknamed Delphi, is the titular main antagonist of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Although she initially introduces herself as the niece of Amos Diggory, Delphi is in fact, the child of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange and has only one goal, restoring her father.
When was Bellatrix Lestrange pregnant with Voldemort's child? So we all know by now that Delphi Diggory ain't Delphi Diggory. Nope, she's the child of Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange, who was born at Malfoy Manor just before the Battle of Hogwarts.
Like his family, Regulus was easily swayed by Lord Voldemort's "pure-blood" rhetoric. He learned too late that the Lord Voldemort's beliefs were far more evil than he had ever realized and being a Death Eater involved far more unpleasantness than he was capable of.
Kreacher was also very loyal to people who treated him with kindness and respect, particularly Regulus Black. He later grew loyal to Harry Potter and started to be friendly towards Harry, Ron and Hermione. However, he was disloyal to those who treated him poorly.
Master Regulus volunteered Kreacher to assist Voldemort who then took Kreacher to a cave, forced him to drink a basin of burning potion and left him for dead. The elf had been used to test the defences for a locket bearing the symbol of Slytherin. Unbeknown to Voldemort, Kreacher escaped and returned to Regulus.
After Sirius' death, Harry Potter became Kreacher's new master. Kreacher disliked Potter and neither did Potter like Kreacher. When Albus Dumbledore came to Privet Drive to tell Harry what Sirius had left him, which included Kreacher and Grimmauld Place Twelve and all his belongings.
An old rude house elf, Kreacher was utterly loyal to the Black family, bordering on mental illness, and he was sickeningly devoted to his deceased ancestral masters, including Sirius' mother.
We have learned that a House-Elf can be freed if given clothes by his or her master, but Hermione is not their master, and so accepting clothes from her will not free the elves.
