Islam has rules of etiquette and an ethical code involving every aspect of life. Muslims refer to Adab as good manners, courtesy, respect, and appropriateness, covering acts such as entering or exiting a washroom, posture when sitting, and cleansing oneself.

In a Hadeeth, he says: “The best among the believers are those of best manners”. He also stated that “Good manners of a believer raise him to the level of a person who fasts all day and prays all night”. Other ethical issues the Prophet emphasized include clemency, honesty, valor, modesty, loyalty and kind speech.
“Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, Most Forbearing.” Here Allah says that kind manners and forgiveness are much better than giving lots in charity but treating people in a terrible manner, after the fact.
In the Holy Quran, Allah the Almighty says: “Kind Speech and forgiveness is better than charity followed by injury; and Allah is Self-sufficient, Forbearing (Chapter 2, Verse 262).
Show respect for elders by greeting them first and stand up when they enter a room. Accept the offer of any food or drink - it is offensive not to. gesture instead.
Good manners are about respecting parents, elders, neighbors and showing love and compassion to the young ones. Visiting the sick and abstaining from evils such as backbiting and slandering also includes in good manners. Allah loves those who possess these great qualities.
Muhammad (pbuh) was very polite and good-mannered. His wife, Aisha, (Ra) and many of his companions including Anas (Ra) and Ali, (Ra) reported that he was good-tempered good-mannered and very polite to all. He was always happy and smiling and his face always had a bright and cheerful look.

Positive thoughts are those that produce good feelings, good deeds, peace of mind, gratitude, tranquility, contentment, and other positive emotional states. These are truthful thoughts about Allah, hope in the Hereafter, the prophets, our blessings, good deeds, and so on.
A woman is expected to exercise a humanizing influence over her husband and to soften the sternness inherent in his nature. A man is enjoined to educate the women in his care so that they cultivate the qualities in which they, by their very nature, excel.
Shahadah, profession of faith, is the first pillar of Islam. Muslims bear witness to the oneness of God by reciting the creed "There is no God but God and Muhammad is the Messenger of God." This simple yet profound statement expresses a Muslim's complete acceptance of and total commitment to Islam.
If they disrespect you, still respect them. If they're mean to you, be kind to them. If they curse and swear in your presence, offer a good word to them. Don't allow their bad actions to affect your good manners.

Kindness and leniency
