If you have larger regular Centrelink benefits from say Family Tax A&B, Carers allowance, Pension, we may be able offer you a larger loan of $1,000 to $2,000 depending on your budget circumstances. We just need to confirm your regular income can support a loan and your reasonable budget.
To get any of these payments, you must meet all of the following: be in severe financial hardship. get, or, be eligible for an income support payment or ABSTUDY Living Allowance. be experiencing an extreme circumstance.
To apply online, you need a Centrelink online account linked to myGov. If you don't have a myGov account or a Centrelink online account you'll need to create them. When you apply, you must tell us your income and expenses. We need these to check if you can repay us.

Partnered part-rate pensioners

On 1 December 2022, a one-off $4,000 income credit was added to the Work Bonus income bank of those at least pension age and in receipt of an Age Pension, Disability Support Pension, Carer Payment or certain Veterans entitlement. Prior to 1 December 2022, the Work Bonus income bank was capped at $7,800.
