رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا. My Lord, have mercy upon them [my parents] as they brought me up [when I was] small. Rabbirhamhuma kama rabbayani ṣaghira.
Duas to Ask God to Forgive our Parents
Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the judgment will come to pass.” Lord, forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer. Forgive believing men and women but bring nothing but ruin down on the evildoers!”
Honoring Parents
In this verse from Surah Al-Isra (The Night Journey), Allah states the first focal belief in Islam which is to worship only Him. Immediately after, He says to honor one's parents. The verb honor means to hold in respect and to show courteous behavior towards.
Oh Allah, shine Your light on any secret or unseen rebellion in their hearts and destroy it before it takes root. Oh Allah, guide them away from any pride, selfishness, jealousy, hypocrisy, malice, and greed and make them uncomfortable with sins. Oh Allah, don't allow my children to be lazy, stingy, or slothful.

Let your love in their heart cover all their wrongs and give them a heart of forgiveness in Jesus name, Amen.
My Lord, have mercy upon them [my parents] as they brought me up [when I was] small. Rabbirhamhuma kama rabbayani ṣaghira.
Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but him, and be good to your parents. Whether one or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of annoyance and do not repel them, but rather speak to them a noble word.
We can get everything back or find a replacement for anything in this world, except parents. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Every righteous child who casts a look of mercy and affection upon his parents shall be granted, for every look of his rewards, equivalent to that of an accepted Hajj.”
Allah has further says in Surah Al-Isra, verse 23: “Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and do good to parents. If any one of them or both of them reach old age, do not say to them: uff (a word or expression of anger or contempt) and do not scold them, and address them with respectful words” [17:23].
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) has said: “Be good towards your parents and your children will be good towards you. (And) Look upon the womenfolk of others with purity (in conduct and intention) and your womenfolk will be looked upon with purity.”
Being Respectful Toward Parents in Quran
Your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship anyone except Him, and [He has enjoined] kindness to parents. Should any of them or both reach old age at your side, do not say to them, 'Fie!' And do not chide them, but speak to them noble words.
Dua For Parents Forgiveness
This first dua comes from Surah Al Isra ayah 24.
Let your patience guide my conversations and responses to their needs and requests. Give me wisdom to set boundaries, and peace to serve them in the ways you've called me to. Ultimately, when it comes to dealing with my selfish parent(s), I pray that you bring peace to this relationship, and to my spirit. Amen.
Dear Lord! Fill our parents with blessings; enrich their souls with Your holy grace; Fill them with wisdom; inspire them to impart it to their children. May they ever walk in the way of Your commandments, and may we their children be their joy on earth and their crown of glory in heaven.
“My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and my parents and to do righteousness that you approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.”
May Allah swt bless our parents, keep them healthy and grant them a long life. For the ones who have passed on to the next world, may Allah swt grant them ease and the highest stations in Jannah. Ameen.
