Linnea Berthelsen (born 13 July 1993) is a Danish actress of Indian descent, who is best known for her recurring role as Kali, also known as Eight, the sister of Eleven in the second season of the science-fiction horror Netflix original series Stranger Things.
Kali used her powers to make him see spiders. Eleven explained she received the image from her mother, before demonstrating her powers and introducing herself as Eleven. They revealed to each other their tattoos and declared themselves sisters.
She explains in season 2 that she escaped the lab once her powers had become strong enough. In season 4, Peter Ballard notes that Kali was no longer at the lab in 1979. Given Kali's powers, it seems pretty self-explanatory as to how she was able to escape the lab.
But are they blood sisters? Probably not, as Terry Ives didn't seem to say anything about having a second child older than Jane (aka Eleven). It's no surprise that the Duffer brothers decided to add another powerful, mentally gifted character to the cast this season.
A girl that was more than just a friend to El: they were practically sisters. At least for one season. Kali Prasad (Linnea Berthelsen), a.k.a. Eight, was introduced in Season 2 of Stranger Things and played out to be an important part of Eleven's story.
Next up, the viewers go on to theorise that One/Vecna is actually Eleven's dad. Yep, told you it was wild. The theory claims that Brenner wanted to create a child with stronger powers, so he waited until One was old enough to become a father.
Birth and early life. Henry Creel was born in 1947 to Victor and Virginia Creel, and had an older sister by three years named Alice. He did not fit in with his peers; his father described him as a "sensitive" boy.
Ten, portrayed by Christian Ganiere, was a recurring character in the fourth season of Stranger Things. He was one of several test subjects experimented upon at Hawkins Lab by Dr. Martin Brenner and was among those who were killed by One on September 8, 1979.
The word half refers to the fact that a half sister shares one biological parent with a sibling, not two. Still, half sister are considered blood relatives. It's not uncommon for people to have a half-sibling. This always involves one's parent having a child with another partner.
Surprisingly, Kali was absent from Stranger Things season 4's Hawkins Lab flashbacks. There's a simple reason for this; Dr. Brenner was controlling the flow of Eleven's memories through the Nina Project, and he was focusing on events shortly before Eleven broke out in Stranger Things season 1.
The existence of Eleven's lost sister Kali, also known as 008, created a few Stranger Things plot holes. Vecna's powers could be key to solving them. Largely considered a plot hole since Stranger Things season 2, Kali's character could actually be explained by Vecna's powers.
In episode 7, Vecna is revealed to be Henry Creel (played as a youngster by Raphael Luce), the son of Victor Creel (Robert Englund) and his wife Virginia (Tyner Rushing) shown in the 1950s flashbacks.
Others have celebrated major milestones, like Millie Bobby Brown. The actress, who plays Eleven on the show, recently hinted at an engagement to her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, whom she first sparked romance rumors with in June 2021.
On the final roll of the dice in Eddie's D&D campaign, Erica manages to roll a 20. It's a critical hit, the party finally defeat Vecna and win the campaign.
In the way things actually played out, Eleven left because she believed she had no one to back her up. If Eleven had left simply to leave, that means she would've gone to see Kali simply to meet her old friend, nothing more. Because she does leave the way she does in the show, her going to see Kali means more.
the children of half siblings are half cousins.
Still, sibling marriage is legally prohibited in most countries worldwide. Exceptions include Brazil and Sweden; in both countries, marriages between half-siblings are legally permitted. Sibling marriage was historically practiced in ancient Egypt and Inca tribes.
It's technically possible for two siblings to be as close as 9 or 10 months apart. After your pregnancy comes to an end, you'll start ovulating again before you have your first postpartum period.
Trivia. The Demogorgon Dungeons & Dragons figure, used by Eleven to symbolize the Monster. The Demogorgon received its nickname from Eleven using the Demogorgon game piece from a Dungeons & Dragons set to show that Will was hiding from the creature in her vision of The Upside Down.
Two is a posthumous antagonist in Stranger Things, serving as a minor flashback antagonist in Season 4. He was one of Martin Brenner's test subjects at Hawkins National Laboratory. Once feeling inferior to Eleven, he gathered up other psychics and brutally assaulted Eleven. He is portrayed by Tristan Spohn.
The Duffer brothers stated that the only logical conclusion to Eddie's story was death. In a way, he was meant to be a tragic character. "There was never any other arc for him and there was no 'how do you survive this'?" said Ross Duffer. "At the very end, you see people still drawing devil horns on his head.
Played by Jamie Campbell Bower, each prosthetic was glued to his skin with medical adhesive by prosthetics designer Barrie Gower and his team. For the finishing touch, Vecna was covered in "glossy slime to make him really, really glossy and wet looking," according to Gower.
In the D&D realm, a defining feature of Vecna is that he's missing his left hand and left eye. This is because his trusted accomplice, Kas the Bloody-Handed, betrayed him and used the sword Vecna created himself to chop off his left hand and remove his left eye. This ultimately destroyed Vecna.
Vecna seeks four victims in total. His first three victims — Chrissy Cunningham, Patrick McKinney, and Fred Benson — are all peers of The Party, people they know from school, which makes Vecna's terror all the more real.
