50 First Dates is a great movie for older kids because it contains a lot of adult references that younger kids may not understand and it also has a lot of references to sex. It is also educational on the fact that some people when they are in car crashes can lose their short-term memory.
Parents need to know that some of the male characters in this movie don't treat women with respect. They lie to get into bed with women, and talk badly about their wives. True to form, there are numerous sexual references along with some lewd language.
Rated PG-13 on appeal for crude sexual humor and drug references; 99 min; Directed by Peter Segal.

Although the movie places Billy in an elementary school context, BILLY MADISON is not suitable for children. The movie's humor and content are very adult, and the movie contains little plot, little realism, flat characters, sexual innuendo, and a significant amount of foul language.
Parents need to know that Big Daddy is a 1999 Adam Sandler film in which Sandler plays an irresponsible man-child who "adopts" a young boy under false pretenses. There is frequent profanity; humor is mined from a 5-year-old saying things like, "Is that the guy with the old balls?" and "But I wipe my own ass."…
Parents need to know that the biggest red flag for this movie is the cursing and violent behavior of Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler). His short fuse results in a number of skirmishes, including an extended (comic) fight scene with Bob Barker. The two brutally pound on each other until Gilmore is eventually knocked…
Although not inherently harmful, early dating can put youths at risk for drug use, promiscuity, and other delinquent behavior, experts say. They advise parents not to push the timetable, but to try to understand why a child wants to date and respond with appropriate guidance and limits.
Some pediatricians suggest that kids wait until they're 16 to start this kind of one-on-one dating. That's a good place to start the discussion, but every kid is different. Some are more emotionally mature than others. Some teens come from communities and families where one-on-one dating starts earlier or later.
There's no one age when people “should” start dating — plenty of people don't start until their late teens or after, and some people start earlier. But dating when you're 12 means something different than dating when you're in high school or older.
Rating: Rated PG-13 on appeal for crude sexual humor and drug references.

Sandler and Barrymore won an MTV award for Best On Screen Team. The fictitious memory impairment suffered by Barrymore's character, "Goldfield's Syndrome", is similar to short-term memory loss and anterograde amnesia.
Lucy's specific condition is described as Goldfield's Syndrome, a fictional disorder created for this movie. The way in which Lucy's memory degrades is unlike any actual type of anterograde amnesia.
Despite various attempts to make the romance work, Lucy feels overwhelmed and calls its quits during the final act. Entertaining as 50 First Dates may be, Goldfield Syndrome is indeed a fictional condition. Lucy's condition in 50 First Dates is based on anterograde amnesia, which reportedly affects short-term memory.
Typically, it's best for children under 13 not to engage in romantic relationships as they are still developing emotionally and cognitively. Healthy friendships are encouraged for teenagers between 13 and 15, but romantic relationships could be too much for them to handle.
Remember there is no right or wrong answer or decision, it is a family issue, you may be happy for their boyfriend/girlfriend to stay over or you might find a happy medium giving them separate bedrooms. Have you had experience of your son or daughter wanting their girlfriend or boyfriend to stay the night?
At that age it's either the best day ever or a disaster of epic proportions; and when the relationship breaks up, it shreds them emotionally before they've matured enough to develop the resilience necessary to recover well. So NO, you should NOT let your 15-year-old daughter sleep with her boyfriend.
The most striking difference is the young age at which children now begin dating: on average, twelve and a half for girls, and thirteen and a half for boys. However, you might not recognize it as dating per se.
Kiss someone when you feel ready, regardless of how old you are. Around ages 12-15, people often start having their first kiss. Don't feel pressured by other people your age kissing people, and don't rush into kissing someone if you are apprehensive. You'll know intuitively when the time feels right.
Most people don't think age-gapped relationships are a big deal. A 2008 study found that couples only face societal disapproval when their age difference is over ten years—I'm in the clear! Woo! Even big age gaps tend to become less taboo as people get older, and it certainly matters at what age the couple met.
Older children over 13 years are likely to enjoy Little, but this movie is inappropriate for children under 11 years. This is because of its mild violence, frequent sexual references and language.
But when I came to think of it deeper, I really came up with the notion that perhaps only teens from 11+ (give or take a year or two, depending on how mature your child(ren) is (are)) can fully appreciate this show. Again, being honest: I reckon this show as not containing things that might shock your child(ren).
