The Black Suit, otherwise known as the Symbiote Suit, is a living, breathing entity now known as the Venom Symbiote. It's seen a storied history of its own, beginning with Spider-Man before taking its own shape with photojournalist Eddie Brock to become the fan-favorite anti-hero Venom.
When Marvel's editorial staff decided that the Ultimate universe's Peter Parker would be killed in the 2011 storyline "Death of Spider-Man", the character Miles Morales was created. Although Morales is the first black Spider-Man, he marks the second time a Latino character has taken the Spider-Man identity.
The first and most well-known symbiote is Venom, who originally attached itself to Spider-Man during the 1985 Secret Wars miniseries. After Spider-Man rejected it upon discovering its true evil nature, the symbiote bonded with his rival, Eddie Brock, with whom it first became Venom.
As a result, the very visible red suit made Peter Parker's life as the superhero very difficult. So, for a quick fix, he turned the suit inside out, resulting in the appearance of a black Spider-Man suit. Peter uses this suit to capture Electro and Sandman as he otherwise had no other viable suit to wear.
Venom was created from the sacrificed remains of All-Black after she was killed by the elder of her hosts alien species.

“I wouldn't mind, if Peter Parker had originally been black, a Latino, an Indian or anything else, that he stay that way,” Lee told the comic industry Web site Newsarama. “But we originally made him white.
Not only that, but the costume seemed to give him new strength and abilities. He no longer needed his web canisters, because the suit produced his webbing organically. He was stronger, faster, and much more aggressive.
When Peter Parker published his correct version of the story, Brock was discredited and fired, and never forgave Peter. When the symbiote bonded with Eddie, their shared hatred of Peter Parker and Spider-Man gave rise to Venom!
After Secret Wars, Spider-Man takes the symbiote back home, and after a while, it leaves Peter's body and connects with Eddie Brock to become a new “Lethal Protector,” named Venom.
Topher Grace also played Eddie Brock, a Daily Bugle employee that quickly becomes Peter Parker's rival, in Spider-Man 3. After detaching from Peter, the alien symbiote collectively known as Venom chooses Eddie as its new host.
However, according to one report, the black suit is actually just Tom Holland's regular suit inside out. (Apparently, he's forced to wear it like that after someone throws paint on the suit and it won't come off.) Yup, that's right.

Venom's alter-ego, Eddie Brock, already had a minor role in the script. Arad felt the series had relied too much on Raimi's personal favorite Spider-Man villains, not characters that modern fans were actually interested in, so Raimi included Venom to please them, and even began to appreciate the character himself.
