Character info:
In 1501, she found out about that and betrayed Rapunzel and got corrupted by the moonstone's powers after stealing it. Varian later rescued her and she fell in love with Varian later on after months of denial.
Cassandra is Rapunzel's handmaiden and close friend in Tangled: Before Ever After and follow-up series.
The ship is often considered canon by some fans, due to all of their moments that can be interpreted as romantic and their last conversation when they say they love each other. Those who don't femslash them, however, prefer to have the two as sisters.
This is one of the reasons she has a rivalry with Eugene because he was a thief in the past and she thinks he's ignorant enough to not address other people's feelings (even though it's not his fault he can't tell).
Cassandra, also spelt Kassandra, is a feminine given name of Greek origin. Cassander is the masculine form of Cassandra. In Greek mythology, Cassandra (Greek: Κασσάνδρα) was the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy.
It's been public knowlage for a few years now that Eugene was on the autism/asbergers spectrum, but I think his treatment on the show has been terrible. A complete weirdo, only used for comic relief that isn't funny, and a broken character arc that has made him unbelivably unsympathetic to the viewer.
Cassandras sexuality was confirmed by writers and storyboard designers. They stated that she had feelings for Rapunzel, and this was shown in the context of the show, but just enough to get it past the Disney censors.
In the past, Rapunzel had two daughters, Anastasia and Drizella, and made a deal with Mother Gothel to be locked in a tower in exchange for the safety of her family. Six years later, Rapunzel frees herself and when she returns to her family, she discovers she has gained a stepdaughter named Ella.
In "Keeper of the Spire", she is revealed to be four years older than Rapunzel. Cassandra is the second of Rapunzel's allies to turn against her, the first being Varian (they both managed to redeem themselves).
Despite claiming she and Varian aren't the same, she shares similarities with Varian as both lost their parents (Cassandra lost her mother after she kidnapped Rapunzel and Varian lost his father as he got trapped inside the amber) and used to be Rapunzel's ally, but they turned against her due to their desire for ...
The Captain gets more development in Tangled: The Series, where he is revealed to have an adopted daughter named Cassandra, a handmaiden who wishes to be a guard.
Cassandra decides to leave Corona to look for her real destiny (thus explaining her absence in Tangled Ever After) and bids farewell to Rapunzel who accepts her title and role as queen as her parents finally step down. Eugene becomes the head of the royal guards with Maximus at his side.
As the player gets to know Cassandra in Haven, they should explore all her dialogue options and flirt with her whenever the opportunity arises. Some of the flirtation options may cause slight disapproval, but there's no need to worry. She secretly enjoys being flirted with underneath all that bluster.
4 Cassandra Pentaghast
Of course, this is only possible as long as the Inquisitor is a man — that's the only way she can be romanced, sadly. Players can gain her approval and pursue her as a romance option mostly by validating her.
It should be noted that Cassandra has thus far been depicted (in alternate timelines) forming a heterosexual relationship with Timothy Drake (Solo #10) and a bisexual relationship with Stephanie Brown (Future State) although she has yet to establish a long-term sexual relationship with either in main comic canon.
Tangled, however, was untouched by the sequel treatment and was left alone despite the film being viewed as a studio accomplishment. Here's why Tangled 2 never was made by the Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Frozen's Elsa and Anna are Rapunzel's cousins
Continuing the family theme, Rapunzel and Eugene are very clearly seen arriving at Elsa's coronation in Frozen.
Varian and Cassandra's age gap is approximately 6-10 years. Lance and Adira's age gap is around 20-25 years.
At first, they started off as good friends, with Varian developing a crush on Cassandra very quickly after meeting her, despite Cass being much older. For her part, Cass considers Varian a good friend and admires his talents. The episode "Great Expotations" expands on their relationship.
Varian is Corona's first Royal Engineer, and is the youngest to hold that position. He has a crush on Cassandra, as shown in "Great Expotations". In addition, both characters are similar. In "Cassandra's Revenge", both Cassandra and Varian fall off Cassandra's Stronghold.
In the episode "Rogue Element", Eugene has entered a relationship with Stephanie and tells her he loves her; shortly after she says she loves him too, she mysteriously disappears.
Eugene gives Rosita a kiss on the cheek and races off to make a date with Stephanie that will take him and other Hilltop residents on a risky road trip to play out in coming episodes. In creator Robert Kirkman's comic books, Eugene and Rosita were in a romantic relationship when she became pregnant with Siddiq's child.
As a horde overruns the Commonwealth, Eugene reunites with his friends and helps Rosita to rescue her daughter. However, he is devastated to find that she has been bitten. Eugene helps to overthrow Milton and to destroy the horde. In the aftermath, Eugene confesses his love for Rosita and is at her bedside as she dies.
