Inside the Orb, Clea was corrupted and she was reborn as a demonic figure composed of flames. This is what Clea could have become in the Dark Dimension, if she had reached her potential for evil.
Clea, also known as Clea Strange, is a fictional character and superheroine from Marvel comics, appearing as a major character in the Doctor Strange comics, and the main protagonist of the Strange comics.
However, because not even Doctor Strange was able to help Scarlet Witch contain her powers in House of M, it seems Clea and Scarlet Witch may be neck-to-neck in terms of who is more powerful.
Clea Strange makes it perfectly clear that she is more powerful than Doctor Strange ever was, especially as Sorcerer Supreme of two worlds. The following contains major spoilers for Strange #3, available now from Marvel. Marvel's latest Sorcerer Supreme might be wielding at least twice as much power as her predecessor.
Created by co-plotters Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Clea first appeared in the Doctor Strange feature in Strange Tales #126 (November 1964). She is a sorceress, the disciple, lover, and eventual wife of Doctor Stephen Strange, and his successor as Sorcerer Supreme.
At the end of the film, after witnessing both Scarlet Witch and Sinister Strange mirror each other in their desperate attempts at happiness, Strange tells Earth-838's Christine Palmer who was betrayed by the Stephen of her universe, that in every universe, he always loved her and always will.
Thoughtcasting: She can communicate telepathically, sharing a special rapport with Doctor Strange due to their connection. Clea can also plant telepathic suggestions in the minds of others, alter their memories and determine if they're lying.
Clea opening a portal to the Dark Dimension Clea can create portals to other dimensions in the Multiverse, including the Dark Dimension. Dimensional Travel: Clea can travel through dimensions using the portals she creates.
Clea was born the daughter of Prince Orini, legitimate heir to the rule of the Dark Dimension, and Umar, sister to the then-current ruler Dormammu.
Wanda was considered to be the Nexus Being of Earth-616, but there were still forces far more powerful than her. Perhaps the most obvious character that was more powerful than the Scarlet Witch was the One Above All, who acted as the "god" of the Marvel universe.
While the Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, her greatest weakness proves even Spider-Man can beat her.
While Agatha is a most powerful witch, she allies with others that possess great power to protect and guide them in the ways of magic. Two of her students include Susan Storm and Reed Richards' son, Franklin Richards, and Wanda Maximoff, AKA Scarlet Witch.
The mid-credits sequence introduces Clea (Charlize Theron), one of the most important characters from the Doctor Strange mythos, who seeks Strange's help in dealing with a universal incursion.
Clea may be the niece of Dormammu, but there usually isn't a family resemblance between them. That changed in MARVEL TEAM-UP (1972) #76, when Clea's soul was abducted by Silver Dagger and drawn into Strange's Orb of Agamotto. Inside the Orb, Clea was corrupted and she was reborn as a demonic figure composed of flames.
Sofia Strange, daughter of Doctor Strange and Clea, has finally returned to Marvel after being introduced in a 2004 one-shot and then forgotten.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ends with Wanda Maximoff destroying the Darkhold temple and all the versions of the book across the multiverse so that no one will ever be able to use the spells again.

Umar is the daughter of Sinifer and the sister of Dormammu, who is usually depicted in a demonic form.
Clea is a major part of Stephen Strange's life. She's a powerful sorceress and ruler of the Dark Dimension and Strange's student, lover, and eventual wife. Academy Award winner Charlize Theron will play Clea in the MCU, and fans can't wait to see her in action alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.
It's none other than Charlize Theron, playing Clea, the daughter of Dormammu, the big, fiery villain from the first Doctor Strange movie. Or at least, she's the daughter of Dormammu in the comics.
Meeting Charlie
In 2018, Palmer survived the Snap and during the next five years, met a man named Charlie. They fell in love and agreed to get married to him.
Fans saw multiple versions of Christine Palmer in the second movie and with Earth-616 Christine now married, it's likely that her character will not return for Doctor Strange 3 (unless there is a good reason for her to return).
In Episode 4, “What If… Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?” it's Christine who dies in the car accident that injures 616-Strange's hands, which motivates him to study the mystic arts and try to prevent her death. His refusal to accept her death as an absolute point in time leads him down a dark path.
