Superhuman Durability: In his armored form, Colossus is completely bulletproof and invulnerable to most forms of bodily harm. He can survive extremes of temperature. He can also survive falls from great heights while in his armored body.
And while Colossus is naturally strong, when he is in this armored form, he is impossibly strong with a class 100 strength, meaning that he could lift more than 100 tons. There's no certain limit to his strength, and like most heroes, it is augmented by his willpower.
Colossus: The Superhero
Similar to a number of characters in Marvel literature, Colossus has the ability to change his external appearance. His genetic mutation allows him to create an “organic steel” layer, which acts as an impenetrable external shell.
Who is stronger, Colossus or Juggernaut? Juggernaut by a long long shot is stronger, it's not even a competition.. I mean look at the ease he used in breaking this bridge, he did it while still inside the armored tank with just a punch..
Colossus' organic metal is strong enough to fend off bullets or even attacks from weaker metals, but it leaves the X-Man vulnerable to attacks from both vibranium and adamantium, meaning heroes like Captain America and Wolverine could kill Colossus with little effort.
Despite this near-invulnerability, it is still possible to injure him, and if knocked unconscious, Colossus reverts to his human form. In his metal form, Colossus bleeds pure energy when injured, and he has no organs that can be damaged.
Thanos is definitely stronger than Colossus and while his organic steel body would stand up to Thanos's attacks for a while, eventually, Thanos's plasma blasts would be able to melt him or even blast straight through him. Either way, Colossus is dead.
Thor joins the Ultimates in attacking the X-Men later on; he fights Storm but is defeated by Colossus.
Colossus Defeated The Juggernaut
Colossus's most impressive fight in the Deadpool series — and his cinematic history in general — was against the X-Men's most "unstoppable" foes. He didn't just stand toe-to-toe with the Juggernaut either — he defeated him.
It is regularly shown that Colossus normaly performs at a higher level than Luke Cage- no, not a level Luke Cage cant fairly combat, but still a higher level. Are you suggesting that Colossus physiology is not also superhumanly durable? Between the two Colossus has shown greater durability and invulnerability feats.
Wolverine's claws are so deadly, that they once managed to cut straight through colossus, whose body is made up of impenetrable organic metal.
At his peak, he can physically exert himself at peak capacity for several days before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. He also does not need to breathe while transformed, but it is believed that he could not survive for long in a vacuum.
It is established that the Flora Colossus hero senses physical pain. While he can grow his limbs and cut them off, he can also grow and reduce their size.
Even The X-Men Know The Thing Is Stronger Than Colossus
That is another difference between the two men: Colossus can transform at will, while Ben Grimm is always doomed to remain the Thing.
Superman is much stronger than Colossus and he has more attacks he can use than just his strength. Colossus would put up a good fight for a time but he's just severely outclassed by the wider range of Superman's powers, not to mention the level of those powers.
While Deadpool fought Ajax, Angel Dust took on Colossus and although she was initially able to hold his own against him, Colossus proved to be stronger and ultimately overpowered her.
Colossus does have a huge weakness in the form of Vibranium. Any sort of physical contact with Vibranium will force Colossus to revert to his original form. This forced reversion doesn't last for long and he can return back to his armored form once he is away from the Vibranium.
Colossus is listed as being of the Class 100 strength level, meaning that he can press at least 100 tons overhead, in a standing military press. Deadpool can lift 800 pounds in the same manner, making Colossus at least 250 times stronger than Deadpool.
In Ultimate War #4 by Mark Miller and Chris Bachalo, Colossus shows the true extent of his power when he faces down, and is able to beat, members of the Ultimates on his own. Colossus is able to stop Ultimate Iron Man in his tracks after Tony attempts to ram into him at full speed.
Wolverine, given enough time, could defeat Colossus in a fight using only his claws, but he would have a terrifically difficult time doing so; the latter's skin is made of adamantium, same as Logan's claws, and even a demon-controlled Wolverine can do very little against him.
Yes. Not only has Magneto turned Colossus into an X-battering-ram many times, he once found Colossus injured and locked into his metal form… and used his magnetism to close those wounds and heal him.
In the Ulimate book, Colossus is strong enough to actually resist Magnetos power. If he has reason enough -- a threat to Wolverine allowed him to overcome magneto's attempts to control him.
Colossus is a mutant with the ability to transform his entire body into a form of "organic steel", with properties similar to osmium but of still unknown composition. Colossus must transform his entire body into this armored state; he cannot transform only a portion of his body.
Colossus' age is given, in the comics, as 18 during 1982: Kitty is about five years her beloved's junior.
During "World War Hulk", Hulk (in a show of strength) bent back Colossus' arm, essentially breaking them.
