For less than one inch you are a AA cup, for one inch you are an A cup, for two inches you are a B cup, for three inches you are C cup, for four inches you are a D cup and for five inches you are a DD cup.
There's no difference in the spacing between single and double letter sizes, a DD is one full size larger than D, just like E is one full size larger than DD.
What is the best boob size? When our participants were asked what their ideal breast size would be, the C cup was considered the most popular, with 39% choosing it above other sizes. In second place, was the D cup, which was the first choice of 29% of people who completed our survey.
The major difference between a C and B cup is the amount of space the breasts occupy in terms of inches. A C-sized bra puts your breasts at 3 inches larger in circumference than your rib cage. With a B-sized cup, there is a 2 inches difference between your ribcage and bust measurement.
If C cups are the midpoint or medium breast size indicator on the cup size scale, then D cups mark the transition towards larger breasts and DD cups are the exact opposite of A cups.

Generally, the A cup is considered the smallest available but for some this is still too big and compensating with a smaller band size won't help. If you want something that's going to fit your form you'll have to go down a level to an AA or even AAA cup.
As we've already discussed, your cup size directly related to your band size as it is the difference between the size of your breasts and your rib cage. If you're a D cup, that means that your bust is 4 inches bigger than your rib cage.
All you need to do is a little bra math: Subtract your band size from your bust measurement to find your cup size. “The difference in inches corresponds to your cup size,” says Iserlis. For example, if your bust measures 37 inches, and your band size is 34, the difference will be 3.
Most of the women who have a moderate structure come under 34 and 36 band size and B or C cup sizes. When it comes to 34c bra size, it gets fit to the woman with a medium bust size, neither small nor big. It is one of the outstandingly elegant bra sizes.
Try going down one band size and up one cup size. For example, if you are sagging in a size 36C bra, try 34D instead. For more help with the bra sizing, take a fit test.
