However, both stars have confirmed season four will be their last, with Emma even having a scaled-back role in the new episodes as Maeve is in the US studying. After winning the Rising Star award at the Baftas 2023 at the end of February, Emma confirmed she'd "said goodbye to Maeve".

On top of that, it has also been revealed that within the fourth series of the show, character Maeve will only appear sporadicly. Emma previously revealed that this is the case as her character is separated from the rest of the cast, as jets off to America to study.
Three core characters are confirmed to return: Otis (played by Asa Butterfield), Maeve (played by Emma Mackey), and Eric (played by Ncuti Gatwa). Plus, Dan Levy (Dan Levy!) will join Season Four.
When Maeve discovers that she is pregnant with Jackson's child, she asks Otis to accompany her to get an abortion. She and Otis subsequently grow closer as the first season progresses, and the two secretly begin to develop feelings for each other.
However, she gets interrupted by her substitute host. As Maeve watches her daughter leave, distraught, the Ghost Nation arrives in order to take them to the Valley Beyond. Taking it as an attack, Maeve grabs her daughter and they take off running, with the girl screaming for her mama.
Maeve believes she is relapsing into leukaemia, but hides it. Phoebe notices Emma is becoming ill and consuming large amount of alcohol. After Nate notices her symptoms, Maeve confesses to her family about her perceived relapse. She finds she is not relapsing, however.
Maeve Rojas is one of the main characters in the Peacock original series, One Of Us Is Lying. She is portrayed by Melissa Collazo. She is Bronwyn's little sister.
In the beginning of this book, we get to revisit old characters while we meet our new POV cast, and I imagine most people, like me, were desperate to find out what had happened with our Bayview Four, Bronwyn, Nate, Addy and Cooper, in the year between the two books events.
However, in the Netflix Bronwyn and Nate don't end up together, despite Bronwyn saying she loves Nate and posting his bail. Given their reunion is such an integral part of the original book, it's safe to say that fans weren't too happy about this change to the storyline.
Maeve manages to give Butcher three vials of Temp-V or V-24, levelling the playing field by giving its user powers for 24 hours. But all in vain. Maeve gets more V-24 to Butcher and feeling dejected and defeated, the two get drunk and have sex, which left everyone shocked. That was not what viewers had expected coming.
Queen Maeve is bisexual, which is revealed in episode five of season one. Her true love is named Elena, and it's revealed over the course of the show that the pair dated until Maeve moved onto Homelander.
But, surprisingly, both Queen Maeve and Soldier Boy survive. Maeve, now powerless (Soldier Boy's radiation removed the Compound V in her system, just like it did to Kimiko), is also free to live the life she always wanted with her girlfriend Elena.
Affectionate Nickname: Her brother and mother both call her "Froggy" or "Frogface", which is clearly an endearing family pet name from Maeve's childhood. Maeve isn't too fond of it, though, especially when her mother first appears. Animal Motif: An odd one with frogs.
Maeve Wiley (girlfriend)
Of course, Emma's exit would be cutting short the long-teased romance between Otis and Maeve which - and spoiler alert for those who haven't finished season three just yet - finally went ahead in the latest season, only for it to be put on hold as Maeve accepted her placement on a US transfer programme for three months ...
She is at first rejoiced at being selected, however is later sexually assaulted when the Deep extorts her into performing oral sex on him in "The Name of the Game" in order for her to stay on the team.
In both the comic and TV series, Noir is a member of the hedonistic and reckless Vought-American superhero group the Seven and is depicted as a "silent ninja" type parody of Batman, Snake Eyes and Deathstroke.
Benjamin, better known as simply Soldier Boy, or Ben, is a major antagonist of the Amazon series The Boys, serving as a mentioned character in Seasons 1 and 2, and one of the two main antagonists (alongside Homelander) of Season 3.
Maeve does choose Otis over Isaac, however, she doesn't actually end up with anyone at the end of Sex Education season 3.
If Maeve wasn't around, there's a good chance that Otis would've said that he loved Ruby. The same thing that plagued them was a major issue for Otis and Ola, which is that Otis loves Maeve more than he does anyone else.
Most notably, however, Maeve was in a relationship with Homelander but broke up with him when he tricked her into having a blindfolded sex session with Black Noir and physically assaulted her when questioned about it.
It turns out Addy's boyfriend Jake is behind everything. After Simon tells Jake about Addy cheating on him with his best friend TJ, Jake wants revenge. He dares Simon to prank the group by putting peanut oil in his own cup so they would seem like murderers.
Physical Appearance
After she breaks up with her boyfriend, Addy suddenly decides she needs a change and cuts off most of her hair. She later dyed it purple because she couldn't keep up with the maintenance requirements of short hair. Addy is stated to have delicate, pixie like features with a heart shaped face.
