A clown fish sets out to rescue his son when he's caught in a net and taken to an aquarium. Some scenes of danger are brief and reassuringly resolved, meaning this film is suitable for all ages.
Finding Nemo contains cartoon action violence. The violence is often meant to be funny but could be scary for younger children, especially with the 3D effects. For example: A scary-looking barracuda with long sharp teeth attacks Marlin and Coral.
The majority of 'Finding Nemo' is good fun for ages 4 and up but there are some scenes that we would like to bring to the attention of parents if they are thinking of watching the movie with small children. The opening scene introduces a clownfish couple, Marlin and Coral.

The movie was rated G for General Audiences, although the movie explains the jellyfish scene, which contains violence.
Finding Nemo is the best-selling DVD title of all time, with over 40 million copies sold as of 2006, and was the highest-grossing G-rated film of all time before Pixar's own Toy Story 3 overtook it. The film was re-released in 3D in 2012.
According to the Motion Picture Association, the PG-13 label means the movie is fine for kids over the age of thirteen. It may not, however, be appropriate for children under thirteen because of language, violence, nudity, and other mature content.

It is entertaining and fun for adults as well as children. The movie does have themes of parental loss and separation and some scary scenes, which younger children might find very frightening. Therefore it isn't recommended for children under 6 years, and we recommend parental guidance for children aged 6-8 years.

What is the age rating for Peppa Pig? Peppa Pig is suitable for viewers of all ages. The episodes contain “no material likely to offend or cause harm” according to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). Both the BBFC and Amazon Prime rated Peppa Pig as “U”, which stands for universal.
But Jurassic Park also explores the impact of humans on the earth, questioning the human drive for dominance over the planet and nature. Because of these complex ideas and the many scary scenes, this is not a movie for younger children.
We'd say no when it comes to kids under 10 watching Stranger Things 4. It's scary and not kid-friendly in the least! And we'd highly suggest waiting for your children to be 12 and older before letting them watch this season. TV-14 seems a pretty good rating for this one.
