Fives and Echo were promoted to ARC trooper status after the defense of Kamino from Separatist invaders.
Fives, formally CT-5555, but also CT-27-5555 and ARC-5555, was an ARC trooper during the Clone Wars. He was a clone of Jango Fett and was born on the planet Kamino. He got the nickname "Fives" because of the four fives in his designation, CT-5555.
In the later part of Fives career this Clone Trooper advanced to full ARC Trooper, serving under the rank of Lieutenant.
Former ARC Trooper Echo joined the Bad Batch towards the end of the Clone Wars after his rescue from the Techno Union. During his years as a soldier in the Grand Army of the Republic, Echo proved to be among the bravest clones, integral in the defense of Rishi Station and Tipoca City.
